I stay here every year and visited the Foundry for first time, went in 3 times to tested it out, the Cocktails / Bar is the only reason to come here, the food is overpriced for what it is, the pizza was not good at all.

Located in the Westin, or large group was accommodated very well with attentive and friendly service. Nice to have lots of natural light in the 2nd floor of the Westin and plenty of seating, lounge, tables and bars. Menu is pricey as you’d expect at a nyc hotel bar. Favorites: cheese board, hummus, grilled shrimp pasta. The steak frites were just ok, would try something else in the menu. Enjoy!

Me and @ChefKG911 enjoyed our evening at the Foundry Kitchen and Bar. We didn’t feel like hitting up Times Square so we just hung here. The atmosphere was upbeat and full of energy, staff was customer focused and the food was delicious. This might be my go to spot in NYC.

We stayed at the westin so used our daily $30 credit/ charge (and then some) here in the bar. Service was quick, drinks were good (I really enjoyed the gimlet)giblets, and food was good. My husband loved the chicken salad and I enjoyed the stuffed quesadilla.

The cheese pizza is terrible. Certainly not made by any self respecting New Yorker. I am not expecting great food at a hotel chain but this was bad even by low standards. Could be pre made frozen? I dont know. No way it was freshly made restaurant style.

The decor looks classy and the seating is varied so you get to choose the level.of comfort you desire. The wait staff was very nice and helpful. Our waiter was very attentive. The chicken quesadilla tasted home cooked (I was hoping it would be better than I could make myself). The Kobe beef sliders were very tasty. I ordered the chicken pot pie and when it came out it looked great but let me down with the flavor. The puff pastry on top tasted delicious but the chicken was very dry and there was not enough cream sauce to keep the flavor consistent. I barely ate half of it. All that being said, everything was overpriced. Each fountain soda was $6 and our total bill was over $130. Just not worth it to me.
