A group of friends and I went to Salem for a long weekend recently and saw this place had great reviews so we figured we would give it a try. The food was excellent, service was a little bit slow but it was extremely busy so that is to be expected. Overall great atmosphere (we sat outside for breakfast) and would definitely recommend to anyone staying in Salem. I saw another review about decaf coffee not having free refills like regular coffee and we decided to try to ask. That was correct, no free refills on decaf coffee which I thought was weird.

Good quality food, we had Ann as a server who did a great job, and as with the price, a little bit too expensive compared with other places with some quality but at least 35% cheaper. I recommend especially the French toast filled with Nutella it is to die for it.

I had the Irish Benny and my friend made an omelette with holaindaisse sauce added , a soda fountain drink and breakfast was over $50 seemed like a lot for 2 people with waters and no coffee. Breakfast was just okay. Don’t think I would eat here again. Our waitress was very nice .

People with allergies beware. I have a dairy allergy. I said so multiple times when ordering. Halfway into my meal I started to get symptomatic. Upon arriving home I was violently ill for hours. We also were served our food without silverware (I had to go up and ask) and did not receive our coffees until the very end of the meal (our server forgot). These other things are forgivable, but telling me the food was safe when it was clearly not safe for someone like me (and many others) is unacceptable. I can absolutely see this place putting someone in the hospital with their dismissal of allergies.

we grabbed brunch here on a saturday morning. I got the chicken kebab wrap, and the french fries were delicious!! so crunchy. taking one star off because my friend got decaf coffee and asked for a refill, and was told only regular coffee comes with a free refill, which is bizarre.

Absolutely terrible! I like to give businesses the benefit of the doubt but our experience was not good. My husband ordered the Big Breakfast , scrambled eggs with cheese. He chose Monterey Jack, they charged $1.50 for the cheese(which I have no problem with as long as you get said cheese and take a second to melt it in the eggs) and all they did was put a few shreds on top of his eggs. His pancake was so over done, he couldn’t cut through the bottom side. Now onto the “BLT” that I ordered. I’m pretty sure the pictures will speak volume! There was 1, ONE, UNO… piece of bacon in the whole thing and what seemed like a head of lettuce! I did show the server who did nothing at that time but did come back with the bill and stated he talk to the manager and she said there should have been 4 pieces of bacon on the sandwich… ok… did you bring the other 3? The sandwich was still sitting there! The frustrating part is the inconsistency! My sister went yesterday and she stated everything was good. My husband joked and said I should ask for salad dressing! ♀️

Loved this place. Our waitress was excellent; kind, well-spoken and super-prompt. The food was 100% consistent for diner fare with healthy portions and reasonable prices (for Salem on July 4th). Would 100% recommend.
