Tasty food and great service! I would come back here again. My boyfriend and I dined here on a Friday evening. They had live entertainment, which we enjoyed very much. The restaurant interior design, which featured nautical details, provided a cozy and charming atmosphere. Our server, Chris, was attentive and friendly. We were instantly greeted with smiles and welcoming hostesses, upon arrival. The menu is a bit expensive, but worth it. The only complaint I have is that the restroom cleanliness can be improved. Other than that, we had a great experience. Give this place a try!

The appetizers we got were alright. The salads felt like they were prepared ahead of time and the raw bar, specifically the clams, felt like they were either shucked ahead of time, or had a long bath in fresh water while still live because all the briny goodness was completely absent. But when those sizzling steaks came out I was blown away. The steaks were unreal how good they were. And the a la cart sides were just as good. The garlic mashed and the spinach specifically.

I won’t go on a tirade about what I didn’t like, I’ll just say that the apps, salads and raw bar left a lot to be desired. But holy mackerel, the steaks, spinach and the garlic mashed potatoes redeemed the entire meal. Outstanding.

Best burger I’ve had at Jersey shore! Peppercorn Burger with mozzarella cheese, bacon and fried onion. It was so so delicious. We had the scallops wrapped in bacon with hollandaise sauce.- also delicious and huge! Highly recommend.

Truly, one of the best burgers in the entire area (Sonny’s Grill in Belmar is another). I always come here to get the Black N’ Bleu burger. It comes served with a monstrous onion ring plus some of the best freshly cooked fries I have ever had.

Ordered prime rib rare and it was served medium well. Kitchen refused to rectify. $45!! They even have a “donness” guide in the menu. Nice place but perhaps they were unloading yesterdays leftover beef. Be warned.

The food is great! Our family frequents this restaurant a dozen or so times a year. The ribs, burgers, prime ribs are all excellent. The big surprise to me is how good the pot roast is. Tender enough to cut with a fork. My only minor criticism is that the service is a bit slow, even at non-peak times. But, it’s not that bad to drop the 5 to a 4. Just a place where a bit more staff training would be time well spent. The initial wait for drink order & bread can be 5-10 minutes, so i feel that can be cut in half. Otherwise, always an excellent dinner.
