This is a great local carry out pizza shop here in the historic downtown Waxhaw. The sauce is, in fact very distinct in a good way in their pies. We have fussy teens that enjoy their basic pie, and the Big Daddy feeds a family of 5 easily! Call ahead, save a 15 minute wait, and be sure to park off the main street around back as it is a little quirky off the main street!

Sadly, after almost six years of patronage, I am done with Fox’s pizza in Waxhaw. Quality and service have been declining over the past two years and although I am a huge “support your local business” proponent, I am giving up on them. Ordered a pizza Friday night at 5:20, told it would be 45-60 minutes, their standard reply. At 90 minutes, I called to ask what happened to my pie and was told “I don’t know what happened but your pizza will be sent out shortly”. It finally arrived after 2 hours, was cold, looked like Picasso shaped the dough and was cut by a blind man into randomly sized pieces. Done, done, done. From now on I will drive and pick up from Lorenzo’s (unfortunately they don’t deliver to Waxhaw) where the pizza is way better (and I was born and raised in NYC) and less expensive and I suggest everyone in our area do the same.

Best pizza in Waxhaw! My wife & son shared the small pepperoni pizza with a vanilla milkshake, and i had a Philly cheese steak with a chocolate milkshake. The philly cheese steak was amazing! Crispy oven baked sandwich with melted cheese, tomato, mushroom, romaine lettuce, steak, red onions, and green peppers. The pizza was awesome too! Very flavorful and soft crust with the right amount of cheese & pepperoni. The milkshakes were soooo good! We love their homemade ice cream. Can’t wait to eat here again. Please stop by for some great food and great service.
