Attended a Syrian dinner night with 5 courses prepared by NYC Chef David George. The food was delicious, The service spot on. The atmosphere was okay as we were sectioned off from main room of restaurant, so can’t honestly speak on it. But do encourage everyone to book a special dinner in their series of chefs. You will not be disappointed. P.S. I stopped taking photos of my courses because I forgot.

My visit to Frame for a tasting menu dinner left me with mixed feelings. While the food, courtesy of the guest chef, was a true delight for the palate, the rest of the experience fell far short of expectations. The servers seemed to view our simple request to sit together as a major inconvenience, even though an entirely vacant 10-top table was available and unused. Their attitude conveyed a sense of entitlement rather than hospitality. I understand that our party did not indicate this in the comments when we booked, but a harmless ask before seating began turned into a 4-time reminder from different staff members that we’ve caused a severe disruption with a simple request that they very quickly obliged. If it was so disruptive we would have rather been told no than taunted with a back handed favor.

Ridiculously overpriced! $400 for dinner for two (food and drink totaled $291 before taxes and facility charge) and only 2 courses contained meat (actually seafood…diced tuna and 2 fried oysters). 18% facility charge on top of food and drink. Facility charge does not include tip. Do not recommend and will never return.

We had dinner with a Mardi Gras theme. They regularly feature chefs with different themes, check their schedule. The food was very good. I would go back again to try a different theme. On the pricey side, but you are paying for the food and drink experience. The chef speaks to the menu and comes by your table. It is an intimate crowd with multiple parties sitting together, but if you like the social experience, you will like it.

Overall an amazing experience from start to finish! Everyone we interacted with seemed happy to work there, efficient, friendly, informative. I consistently am checking the listings for events & dinners as this is my new favorite place to go on special occasions! If you’re even slightly debating on trying this place, I HIGHLY recommend!
