All of our thin crust NY style pizzas are made to order in a dual coal-fire brick oven. The 1,000-degree oven is operated by our pizzaiolo’s who have gone through months of rigorous training. We pride ourselves on fresh local produce, imported olive oil, fresh herbs and ingredients. Most of all, a key component to Francesco’s secret dough recipe is the imported Antimo Caputo “00” flour. The “00” refers to the texture of the flour, “00” is the finest grind available for flour. The fine grind produces a crunchy and crisp pizza crust without being rubbery, and produces just the right amount of puff on the edges. This soft and flavorful flour is created from top-quality, all-natural soft flour that has been milled slowly.

1 star for service because they use Door Dash – not their own drivers. My order was suppose to be here by 8:15 and did not come till almost 8:45. Driver left at front we asked for side door. Food was lukewarm to cold. We got wings which were good, just imagine if they were warmer how good they would have been. Pizza was pepperoni , mushroom, sausage, and carmelized onions. Flavor good but pizza close to cold. We not order direct ever again! They are on grub hub will order again via GrubHub as we have no problems getting food warm and left at the correct door.

Top-notch pizza, best I’ve had in the city of Providence. I’ve been here twice now and left more than satisfied both times. The sauce has good favor, they do a good balance of cheese and sauce, the crust is thin but chewy, and the pizza is not too oily or greasy. They also have unique and interesting flavors, like the General Tso’s pizza, which I’d never tried anywhere before and enjoyed. Francesco’s has definitely become my go-to place for a slice. I would say the prices are about in line with the area.

Folks who deliver through a service need to stop blaming Francesco’s for the temperature of the pizza. They are not responsible for the timing of deliveries—the app you choose makes that determination. Now, that being said, this is a real family owned Italian American corner pizza place just like you’d find in NYC or Brooklyn. Mom, son, wife, they all take part. The pizza sauce is homemade, tangy and bright like a New York slice with a thin crisp crust that has a nice crusty bread taste. YES—they have vegan cheese! YES—they have gluten free pizza. I suggest stopping in for a slice—no tables inside but there are benches on the sidewalk. Otherwise order a pizza to go and pick it up yourself, and say hi to the folks who work there. Small businesses like this are one of the last places we can really build a sense of community and support—a place like this has honest prices and good food (I have to try the homemade meatballs!) and is worthy of the community gathering around to support them! Tried as part of November’s RI Food Fights. We got a general tso, a pepperoni and a bbq chicken (forgot to take pics of the actual slices) they were all pretty good but could’ve been hotter. I realize that many spots that sell slices have them already there but then they need to be heated longer. Other than that though I’d try it again. The lady at the counter was great! She took the time after handing us the pizzas to tell me about their sales posted on their website
