This place is legit! So I chose to wait until the second time I visited this place before my review and the wings are consistently great and so is the service. This is quickly becoming THE spot to go in the Leesburg area for Wings. The bartenders and servers are very friendly and efficient and the wings are plump and juicy. I normally do not like dry rub wings but theirs are absolutely awesome. Great beer selection as well. Their original and hot wings are nothing but perfection. Most definitely our go-to wing place from now on!!

First time here. So delicious! I loved the food. The servers are super down to Earth and it’s just a good time. Ate too fast forgot to take a picture. would definitely come back and bring friend and family. There is a little bit for everyone!

We hit the Anchor Bar shortly after it started. We all got wings, and they were good but needed to be more crispy. I also wish they had more flavors. The service was good, especially since they were clearly short staffed. The owner or manager came by and talked to us a couple of times which was really nice. It had a great atmosphere and will be a top spot to hit during football games. I expect they will settle in over the next couple of weeks and be a great place to go.

As someone born and raised in the 716, I am ecstatic to have this in the neighborhood. They did an exceptional job during our visit, even with this being the first week. It was quite busy but we were lucky to get a seat at the bar. I got the weck and wings to warm my WNY heart. The wings were the proper size and were delicious! The beef on weck was piled high and tasty. The fries were hot. They have very minor details to iron out. For example, my plate came with ranch (I’m pretty sure this is a crime?) and no au jus. Thankfully the woman working the bar was quick to solve this for me. She was so welcoming and helpful the whole time! I’ll be excited to visit when the taps are full. Thank you Anchor Bar! GO BILLS!!

Stopped in at the bar and did a carryout order. The bartenders are friendly and on point, and the bar was inviting. They have an excellent mix of beers on tap. My order came out faster than I was expecting, and the carryout boxes did a great job maintaining the integrity of the food on the ride home. We got medium & honey bourbon bbq wings, and loaded tots. The wings are fantastic, cooked just right and tasted very fresh. We will definitely be back!

I went to the original Anchor Bar in Buffalo some 20 years ago and loved it. Not sure why this was such a different experience. Perhaps I’m a more discerning with my food than when I was younger but the wings, loaded cheese fries, and chicken tenders were all just okay. For the food I’d give it 5/10. My brother felt 4/10. I understand it’s a soft opening but is that really going to make the wings that much better? Right now I can think of 4 other places off the top of my head that have better wings and with more choices (no Caribbean Jerk or Spicy/Sweet Asian). And how do you run out of Coca Cola at lunch time? I will probably try again once more in a few months and give them another chance but they’ve got some work to do.
