Everything about this place is worth the 45 minute drive from my house. I’ve been eating here for 35 years and through all the iterations, the mushrooms and onion rings are still the best I’ve had anywhere, ever. Even the salads are fantastic. The service is stellar. I don’t hand out exuberant compliments often but Frankie’s definitely deserves it.

Waitress was fine. Beer was fine . We got a pizza which was alright until we found a hair halfway in. They would only discount $4 off the price of the pizza and while we finished our beer, a mouse ran across the floor to under the table next to us. We won’t be going back.

Pizza crust was very hard like it was freezer burnt. Kudos to the one waitress for waiting tables and running credit cards & keno tabs for her area and the bar area because the bar tender they had was clueless and it showed. Ps: wasn’t that busy.

Food was fabulous. First of all, everything came out quickly and was hot. Every bit of it. Chicken tenders amazing along with hot fresh French fries. We started with the Mushrooms fabulous and chicken salad fresh and crisp. Lasagna was also a big hit. Best of all was the service was fast and efficient. Atmosphere was like we were in our own neighborhood.

Steak was literally tasteless… absolutely not a simple spice on it and obviously cooked on a flat skillet or pan….no grill and tasted like it had been freezer burnt. I got a bowl of chili for and tasted out of the can and when I asked for crackers they looked clueless…then came back and said that they were out of crackers…I’m guessing they never had any to begin with….

Absolutely wonderful place for food, spirits and good people! Our wrestling team came about 30mins before they closed, they were more than welcoming to entertain our group of almost 30, never once made us feel like we were keeping them late. The Alfredo pizza was the best pizza I have ever tried, the chicken sandwich was SO LARGE and filling, and the Mikado (Mik-a-do) burger was perfectly put together! Thanks again for such a great experience, letting us stay late and never making us feel pressured to leave and the the bonus of all the delicious food. We can’t wait to come back ✨

Absolutely fantastic food and staff. I recommend the Mikado Burger and the Alfredo. You get great portions and awesome flavors. The staff is kind and prompt and the owners are welcoming and friendly.
