It sure why some others have posted negative comments about this place, as we really enjoyed our experience (and we can be very picky). Abby, the person behind the register when we arrived, was delightful. She patiently answered our questions, made spot-on recommendations, and was super helpful. Frankie, the owner, chatted w/us about the restaurant, the area, NY, and was very pleasant. But we went for the food, and we were blown away by it all! I had the Figgy Piggy, which had done serious burrata and thinly sliced but generous prosciutto, and it was excellent. My husband had the Brooklyn, and the pastrami was delicious and not overly fatty. Each sandwich was overstuffed, making the price a little easier to swallow (pun intended), and considering we each took home a half we’ll get two lunches out of it. We didn’t have room for dessert, but I couldn’t resist the lure of the lobster w/cannoli filling pastry and a pepperoni and cheese roll to take home. Everything was wonderful, and definitely worth the drive. Now go!

The staff at Frankie’s Italian Deli was so friendly and welcoming. The sandwiches are huge and so delicious. They have so many choices of ice cream and Italian ice. They also have a variety things you can take home such as chicken salad, potato salad, coleslaw, macaroni salad, egg salad, tuna salad, Mac and cheese bites, Sicilian rice all, fried ravioli, eggplant tower, caprese, scallion cream cheese, veggie cream cheese, marinated peppers, grilled eggplant, marinated sun dried tomatoes, marinated mushrooms, antipasto salad, olives, sweet chili shrimp, caponata. They also have turnovers, cinnamon buns, cookies, tiramisu, eclairs, and a huge variety of cheesecakes, and cookies. There is something on the menu for everyone. They also serve breakfast all day. I had the IN DA CLUB cold sandwich with Boars head turkey, Boars head ham, bacon, American cheese, lettuce tomato and chipotle mayo. Wow wow wow the rainbow cookies are spectacular!!! I have tried many in the area and these are the most authentic I’ve found in Florida!!!! I also tried the pasta ala vodka and added chicken cutlets. It was good I’m not sure if the cutlets are made fresh to order but still solid. Washed it down with a Poland spring if you know you know! The only thing I’d say that was missing was customer service. No greeting no welcome no socialization. I will come back in to try a breakfast sandwich and hope for the best!! As a consumer I don’t expect anyone to go over the top for me but I definitely appreciate good customer service.

Frankie’s is amazing! Great sandwiches, delicious pastries and ice cream. I like the Drunken Nonna, which is a meatball sub with the best vodka sauce I have ever tasted. For a cold sandwich, try the Fat Boy. The pasta here is excellent and you can get the sauces to go. Try the vodka sauce – you will be happy you did!!

Great service. My boys said they wish they could give it 20 stars. We ordered a hodge podge of deserts. Canoli, ice cream, brownie and apple cheese cake. Only the brownie made it long enough for a photo. Great ending to put Friday evening!
