Fantastic menu! Everything home cooked. If you are craving good home cooking this is for you. The breakfast menu is plentiful— not just scrambled eggs and pancakes. Breakfast sandwiches, platters, omelets , scramblers.

This was the best cafe I’ve been to! I live an hour away & stopped in with my children & when I say the most kid friendly I mean the most! They had little games, coloring pamphlets & even the chef made my daughter pancakes with her name! It was awesome! We had a great experience, service was excellent & the food was AMAZING! Even tho it’s an hour away it’s worth the drive we definitely will be back! Thank you Franklin cafe our belly’s were full and our day was made!

What an excellent find in Franklin!! Not too many people places serve chicken fried steak and fried okra but I’m here to tell you this place is one of the best. You gotta try those cheese grits also they’re fantastic! The sweet tea is awesome good also. If you stop here, you’ll be surprised by the reasonable prices and the outstanding quality!

We were visiting Franklin for the winter and we came upon this little gem. Very pleasant atmosphere, and everyone was really nice. On top of that, the food was great! The hot chocolate was so adorable, and I definitely recommend the bologna sandwich. Definitely give this place a try ❤️

Stopped by for lunch while traveling thru the North Carolina mountains. Food was outstanding (everything is made fresh) and the service exceptional! Our server, Ashley, was very friendly and attentive. She told us about the area and introduced us to the owner, Crystal. Crystal, her husband and all the staff are dedicated to making the Franklin Cafe the best restaurant in the area and constantly looking for ways to give back to the neighborhood. It’s a great place to eat and relax. Will definitely stop back by when in the area.

First off…CASH ONLY. ATM inside. Now, every bite was better than the last. Definitely come here and try some great home cooked food. I ended up forgetting about my entree for a time and focused on the sides. So good.

Best breakfast we have had at a restaurant in a while! Very filling, decent prices, attentive staff, even greeting locals with their favorite drink when they walk in! Loved reading the old signs! Definitely get the biscuit…no regrets!!
