I would give this place negative stars if I could. This is the worst service I have EVER had. I’m a server at a bar and I would never have treated my customers the way my boyfriend and I were treated. First they wrote down the wrong number, and instead of asking me to repeat it, they just assumed it was right. Then when we came in and asked about our table they were rude and defiantly sat us at a cramped table. The owner or whoever the lady was who “served” us was rude and disrespectful as hell from the get go, and tried to tell ME I was in the wrong. She never brought me my drink, didn’t check on us ONCE for thirty minutes, and back talked me when I told her her service was terrible. Not to mention she GRABBED my arm??? Why do people in the south think you can just touch random people?? She was so rude, she had zero sense of good customer service and said our meal was free and basically threatened to kick us out. She told us not to come back. Which is fine, the food was a 3/10 at best and I’ll be telling people how abysmal this place is. They clearly don’t know how to treat customers. So disrespectful and disappointing seeing a place in the service industry treat people like that. -10/10. The lady who’s running it should not be working in hospitality. I would get fired from my job if I spoke to my customers like that. If you’re not willing to treat us with respect and accommodate your customer, don’t run a business It’s that simple. I know we were only treated this way because were young and in our early twenties. They would have never treated someone 40+ like that. Absolutely not, this place is literally awful.

This place was AWESOME and DELICIOUS. The Gluten Free options were especially amazing. Nearly everything on the menu is gf or has a gf option, even fried things like chicken tenders (which were absolutely delicious). Good stuff. No complaints.

The blue cheese burger was awesome and the home-style chips were great as a side. The best thing about this place is the service. My server was friendly, offered several menu recommendations and brought my food out quickly! I’ll absolutely be back- as suggested on a Friday night for live music and more good food!

My mom and I went here a few months ago & the food was good! The service was good. However, reading some of the responses to these reviews is a little cringe and unprofessional. I don’t believe in “the customer is always right” policy… but I do believe it’s important to maintain a certain level of professionalism when interacting with happy & upset customers. Being able to take criticism is important as a business. The attitude behind some of the responses gives an aggressive and unwelcoming tone. Google reviews allows people to share their experiences in which they are entitled to their opinion of their personal experience. If any, the response to my review may just prove my point…

food and atmosphere.. AMAZING. my whole table was very pleased with their meals. my boyfriend however ordered a med rare steak and it came med well. no problem. we sent it back to get it remade and the server comes back out with her flash light to try and convince us that it was med rare. she was a good server but that was super unprofessional.. and then when we got the steak back, it was rare in the middle but fully cooked on the outside… the cook came over with an attitude and almost made it seem as if we would’ve sent it back again to get the correct temp, he would’ve been upset. they took the steak off of the bill which was very appreciated but they proceeded to charge us 20% gratuity for a table of 6 which ended up being $16. no one else at my table paid that amount of gratuity and they wouldn’t fix the issue. we paid $70 for a burger, 2 apps, and 2 desserts… other than that, everything was great and we will definitely give this place another try.

My wife and I love eating here. Her mother was visiting us so we took her here for dinner. Everything was spot on as usual and they had a portable AC unit at the counter to keep the place cool. A very nice touch and we were seated right next to it. That is until a large group walked in the front door like they owned the place and a large man in that group walked right up to that AC unit, straddled it so that the air blew across his junk and into the room. No regard for what he was doing and his clothes were ballooned out from the air. Totally disgusting. Several of us we’re watching this and I stared right at him for the two or three minutes he was enjoying himself while talking with the staff. We couldn’t finish eating. Lost our appetite immediately and had to box our food and leave. We threw the food away when we got home. Our waitress Gretchen was curious as to why we didn’t finish eating and I wanted to tell her but I couldn’t do that without being equally as offensive so I didn’t. What a jerk for doing that and wow, that the staff didn’t realize what was happening. I live in and do business in this town and know many people too but I won’t be going back here. Such a shame as this was a “go to” for us for many years.

What an awesome Valentine’s Day Dinner! Super organized, intimate setting, all staff were on point, Haley our server was personable and delightful, music by David Porter was a great addition, all of the food was *chef’s kiss* cooked to perfection. Loved having Treehouse Vineyards Cabernet as a Wine option. 10/10. We come to FCG frequently and we love supporting this family owned small business.

Without a doubt, this is our absolute favorite place to eat in Monroe! The staff is always awesome and the food never disappoints! They truly care about their customers and treat them like family. We are both gluten free and just about anything on their menu is either already GF or can be prepared GF. Miss Cathy is the the absolute best and she expects nothing less from her staff!

Our bachelorette party came in and we were greeted with wonderful energy the front staff and kitchen staff and us all gave a celebratory cheer for our friend getting married which was super nice of them. The food was AMAZING! We got dinner and ordered pizzas to go for later and it was all so so amazing. Seriously go check this place out it is absolutely worth it
