The good: everything I’ve ever had here is great. The guac is fresh avocado and lime, the shrimp have the savory caramelized bits on, the cheese is real, the salsa is perfectly kicky! Best Mexican in the area.

Friends brought us for the first time on a Saturday night. We have eaten at MANY Mexican restaurants, but wow…… 10/10. From the drinks and appetizers to our meals, seriously some of the best food across the board. Service was great too. Will absolutely make a trip back again.

Heard of this for years and sad we didn’t go sooner. Service was great, settled quickly, food was great, authentic Mexican, I spent several years in southern New Mexico and west Texas, so I know good Mexican food.

Nestled in the quaint hills of Franklin Park is the Franklin Park Inn. This is an awesome place for a Mexican Fiesta. Eating here took me back to my time in the Rio Grande. Staff was so friendly and the service was superb. The generous portions of food and atmosphere made this visit perfect. So saddle up your horses and head on over for the finest Mexican fiesta this side of the Pecos River.

Franklin Inn is a casual Mexican restaurant. It serves a variety of appetizers, entrees, sides, desserts, and drinks. The restaurant is currently trying to hire employees for many positions, and that understaffing might explain the long waits. I waited 50 minutes for my food to be brought out. My waitress had a warm personality and seemed to care about her customers. As for the food, I liked the tortilla chips with guacamole and salsa. My vegetable fajita was reasonably good. My husband did not enjoy his steak fajita at all, and he said that it lacked flavor. Our taste buds like only slightly spicy foods, but we recommend that the cooks here add more seasoning.

I’ve been here once before. We got here for dinner on a Tuesday night around 5:45 when it was already packed. We didn’t have to wait too long to get a small table. They had a limit on the amount of time you could stay – maybe 75 minutes? It seemed like plenty of time but they were so busy that it took a while to get our orders placed and food received so I felt a little irritating at that point. We were able to eat quickly and get done though. The way staff was nice. And the food was tasty. Overall I think it is The best tasting Mexican food I’ve had north of Pittsburgh, so I imagine we’ll probably be back.

I would come back to the Franklin Inn just for the margaritas. However, the food was great and so was the service. It was packed but we were seated in 5-mins.
