Franklin Lakes Pizza is a Good Local Slice of Pizza. The staff was very nice and welcoming. The Pizza was your standard local slice of pizza. Not Great. Not Bad. A good slice of pizza. It all actually blended really well together from the crust, sauce and cheese. The place was clean and had a nice variety of speciality slices ready to go. Based on my most recent experience there ( March 2023), I will not return. First, in the past, if a customer sat at a table, a server would always be pleasant and accommodating. On my last meal there, this was far from the case. My friend and I went to the counter to order. When my friend asked if there was a fee charged to use a credit card, the young woman said there was…then asked about a fee for a debit card transaction, and the so- called manager said that the business charged a “very small fee” for a debit card transaction. When I pointed out that charging such a fee is illegal, I was met with a dirty, lingering look. FRANKLIN LAKES PIZZA, check your business practices. Then, my friend and I decided to eat at a table. As we were waiting for our food to arrive, a group of about 12 boys were seated. Their table became louder and louder ( think Chuck E Cheese atmosphere on steroids). I quietly brought this to the attention of a girl working at the counter and she just looked at me.( she was supposedly the manager). When another worker came to check on how we liked our food, I again mentioned the extremely loud table, and the “manager’s” answer was that ” they did book the room.” There was no apology, no show of understanding, but she did say that she would speak to them. No one did. I went over to one of the fathers to tell him my frustration, and the parents, tried, unsuccessfully, to have their kids behave in a semi- civilized manner. I used to live in the area, but now, when I return for pizza, I will head over to Uncle Louie’s. I won’t spend a dime where my business and opinion is not valued. Not sure if there was a change in ownership… On a final note, we did like our pizza but the service soured the overall experience

We ordered a pizza for takeout. When my husband got home with it and opened the box, it was burnt! All the cheese on top was black. We didn’t have time to return it and surprised company showed up. It was so embarrassing offering burnt pizza. Unfortunately, my husband had to go back to work and didn’t have time to return it. Who gives a customer a burnt pizza??!! If I knew how to put a picture on, I would.

I’m not from the area but it’s always a treat going here. Always fresh and tastes like a Sunday dinner! The best meal is the penne vodka! Always great service and the staff is always friendly. I really miss their one delivery boy Calvin he always had a great smile and good attitude very professional and delivered my food straight to my door always warm

Food was decent, service was terrible. The girl at the register couldn’t answer simple questions such as, do I order here first or just sit in the dining area. We sat down and no one came to take our order. When we ordered at the front, she asked cash or card, I said card and she input cash and we had to wait until someone from the back could come fix it. They gave us honey mustard with my kids chicken tenders, didn’t ask what sauce we wanted. The kid wanted ranch and they charged us for it as we walked out the door. If you go here, be specific, assertive, and take out.

Can’t say enough good things about this restaurant! Customer service is always amazing, the food speaks for itself and as a new resident of Franklin Lakes I tried out many restaurants and continuously find myself going back to this one! Food is always fresh not to mention when you order on the phone they remember and remind you of all the special ways you like your food. Lady on phone even reminded me when I was ordering my salad if I wanted the iceberg lettuce , thank you for the amazing service!!
