The food wasn’t even hot. It was the end of the night they tried to heat it up but didn’t heat it up enough. Prices went up. I had oxtails, rice and peas and cabbage. It’s not as good as it use to be. The plantains were pretty good. I probably will not be going back. .

Let’s start with the very small amount of baked mac & cheese that cost $4. It was horrible. The beef patty was burnt to hell. The coco bread could brake a window. The stew chicken was good with the rice. The curry goat was good but the basmati rice was off.

I am from Brooklyn and this food was so good. I tried another place in albany that was not good at all but franks hit the spot. The jerk pork was juicy it was tender and packed with flavor. The jerk chicken was also juicy, flavor filled down right great. The roti was nice and hot. I will be ordering again for my family. They truly enjoyed. Most definitely will be referring to others.

I wanted to give it a half star but couldn’t. If you have been to Jamaica and have had real Jamaican food don’t go here. You won’t taste the actual food because it’s filled with pepper, the owner is this guy who’s always at the establishment not a very friendly guy like most Jamaicans are and he’s not very considerate at all.

Loved it. Coming from the NYC all the restaurants up here in the capital district suck and the women have funky attitudes. This place was different the lady behind the counter was very pleasant, I asked for no legs and she made it happen. The food was amazing. I been here twice once for chicken soup the other for brown stew chicken and tasted just as good as ever. I would recommend this place to anyone that is looking for authentic Jamaican food. Wish I lived closer.

This place was a hidden gem that we stumbled across when we were dropping my god daughter off to college at the university of Albany, coming from Queens, NY. The owner Frank was very hospitable. He offered my friend mint ginger tea, because she said she had a headache. The food was very delicious and full of flavor. I had a steam fish with rice and peas and steamed veggies. We will definitely be coming back to your amazing place. The staff Anija, Josh and Frank are super friendly.
