2nd time here and there have been some changes. Upscale diner with elk and other items on the menu. Priced accordingly. Patty melt was 19 bucks. Portions for salads are large. Service is quick and friendly. We tried chicken and biscuits, patty melt and a Caesar salad. If you want a large salad and want to add chicken it will run you $24

We stopped by on the 4th of July for breakfast so of course the place was packed. We waited for about 30 min to be seated for a large group of 6. Kids loved the idea of “eating on a train”. The food was great. Definitely will stop by again if we’re ever in the area again.

We don’t get out as a family often. We have 3 boys (12y, 4y, 8m, at time of visit). It was honestly exceeding expectations and our waiter was very balanced in his table visits, proactive in our needs, and even catching some requests we mentioned to each other and he had it over before we had to ask.

Frank’s Diner was a phenomenal experience. The ambiance, the staff & the food were absolutely worth the evening out. We ordered the franks breakfast combo, fried deviled eggs, meatloaf & more. The pictures do not do justice as the flavor all across the board, exploded in yo mouth with each bite. Definitely will be going back and recommend y’all try it!

My boyfriends eyes lit up when I took him to this train car restaurant. He was so excited to order food and was treated by wondwrdil staff as soon as we got in the soor. He was over the moon impressed by the deviled eggs I made him try.

This place looks great from the outside and even better inside. We only had to wait 15 minutes for a table for two. The interior is well done! The bathrooms are fabulous and clean. Well done on the remodel trim work. Breakfast cost me $70 for two people with tip but the portions were large and we couldn’t finish our meals. My wife had a Corned Beef Benedict that was delicious and there was plenty of corned beef. I had a Joe Scramble that was also very good. My wife got hash browns with grilled onions that she liked a lot. My sourdough toast was delicious. My only complaint about the food was that the biscuits and gravy lacked enough sausage. For 11 bucks you should at least get two or three oz of sausage in the gravy. I would estimate I had less than 1 oz. My only complaint about the service, was it took too long to get refills of coffee. That was a problem because the coffee was so good that I kept wanting more. However, they did fill my coffee traveler for free when we left.

A very busy july 3rd but well worth the 25 minute wait. The staff is super friendly and accommodating, the food was fantastic and very tasty and good hot coffee. The restrooms were very clean. You can dine inside or outside. And if you like railroading the dining car is totally refurbished and you can use your imagination and go back a hundred + years and ride the rails while you are dining.

Okay Craig my server has the most beautiful smile. He was so patient with me as I waited for my friends. As a first time diner I visited on a busy Friday morning at 8am and had to try the chicken fried steak and eggs .. grab a side of hollandaise sauce because YUM! I am sad that I’m just passing through but I will have Franks as a MUST STOP for my future ventures.

Well I guess I’m biased, I lived in a southern state for many years, food down there isn’t bland like it is here. The chicken fried steak breakfast I just ate tasted like it should be a part of a nursing home menu. Super extra bland. Food minus the flavor. If your used to bland food I’m sure it’s great
