WHAT A FIND! This is a GREAT Italian Restaurant. This is not the usual Marathon Florida Keys fare. The food is EXCEPTIONAL! The service is OUTSTANDING! When you need a change from the TIKI Bar environment, this is THE PLACE to go. The pastas are legit. The seafood is absolutely representative of Marathon but done in Italian. This is probably one of the greatest Marathon treasures…This is a must!

Outstanding Italian food served in a casual space by a super friendly waitstaff. This is the Italian food you’d expect to find in NYC or Boston, very authentic, high quality ingredients, very diverse menu, generous portions. My wife absolutely loved her mussels fra diavolo served on a bed of freshly prepared al dente linguini. The mussels were very fresh and plump and the I could have consumed the sauce by the glass it was so delicious. I opted for the Veal Milanese and was really impressed – the meat was very tender and really flavorful, the pan fried crust was not overwhelming. Just a delicious meal. For this type of food quality I would have expected to pay 10-25% higher prices. The service was prompt, professional and very friendly. If you like Italian, this place is fantastic – call in advance to get a reservation as the word is out!

I will say it had the best tasting plate of spaghetti with sausage, peppers and onions. The sauce was so fresh, tasted homemade and made to order. My other half got the clams and linguini and said it was fresh and awesome. We had a slice of Key Lime pie. AWESOME PLACE . Wished we had one back home in Cocoa, Fl.

This restaurant is in the corner of a plaza, and it wasn’t visible to me from the street. So showing up on a Tuesday around 5:50 PM we figured it would be empty. But there was already a two-hour wait for indoor seating. This restaurant gets super busy so it’s best to make a reservation. Lucky for us, they had one small table available outside.

Our BEST meal in the keys in 5 days! This is where locals eat! We are probably going back again before we leave. Call and get a reservation before you go. The owner is cooking and it is soo worth it! Staff are all awesome! We wish we had this gem at home! Thank you to all the staff who made our dinner awesome tonight!

My wife, 2 adult daughters and I went to Frank’s on 6/17. Frankly, we weren’t expecting it to be that good. We were greeted, seated and got immediate/wonderful service. Our waitress Linda was engaging and very dry witted. The food was so much better we though it would be. My veal was fork tender. My wife’s scallops were huge. Both daughter raved about their pasta dishes. You gotta go to Franks when you’re near Marathon!

Arrived on a weekday evening with a reservation for a small party. We were seated promptly and then were actively ignored for about 30 minutes by the busboy and three servers. The restaurant was busy, but about 1/3 of the tables were open and being turned over. Really no excuse to not even acknowledge our presence in the restaurant. Ended up just leaving. I figured it wasn’t going to get any better after that.

The service at this place is pretty good and the food is decent. The prices are high but it’s expected because it’s in the keys. If you like Italian, this is probably the place to go. They give bread and butter which is always a good thing too. They had someone playing saxophone outside which was great.

When you’re on vacation and want to find ” The Best Place” to eat, and most of the time it’s just ok…..THIS IS NOT THAT PLACE! Amazing little unassuming place in a two story office plaza next to a post office. We pulled in and thought we would give it a try since the place we had originally planned on dining was closed.( lucky, we were) We walked in and didn’t have reservations. The hostess worked to fit us in and seat our table of 7 adults, a toddler and two infants. Our waitress was attentive and she was assisted by an older lady that made the experience just that much more enjoyable. The fresh hot bread they brought out was plentiful and tasty. Every dish we ordered, it was perfect. Give this place a try…I love food and love a great restaurant. This place was 10 out of 10!!

Got take-out here while in town–seems like they don’t answer the phone during peak hours so I just sent my husband over to order in person. Took 30 minutes for the food to be prepared and I could not be happier. Honestly, you’re going to spend $20-30 per person for dinner at many restaurants in Marathon, why not get something truly excellent? We had the shrimp fra diavolo and grouper francaise–came with sides and bread. So so good. Do yourself a favor and put this on your list while in town.
