It is nice to have an independent pizza joint in Montgomery. The staff is friendly and the food is good. Pizza is my weakness and I really wished they could step up with theirs. I get that they are trying to emulate the New York style but the appearance of the pizza leaves a bit to be desired. Fresher ingredients, and better preparation would go far in improving the taste.

Stopped in yesterday after much too long away. I don’t know who the new owners / operators are, but I thank them wholeheartedly for the effort they sustain to keep my treasured childhood memories alive. The calzone special was exactly as I remember it 40 some years ago. It was perfect.
