Went to have the regular size menudo with a side of hash browns. Both were tasty. However, the service was not so good. We waited a good 10 minutes before the waitress showed up. It was not busy at all, only three other tables were occupied, couples. After our beverages were served, we had to ask for straws. When our food was served, we had to ask for napkins because we weren’t given any.

Great place for Mexican comfort food. From breakfast to dinner. All food looks great. Reasonable prices. Their menudo is delicious. Hearty portions per plate. Friendly staff. Somewhat slow when packed on weekends but overall awesome service. Atmosphere is very open dinning, booths line the outer walls. Music not so loud able to have decent conversation.

They serve the menudo with limes in a plastic bag, onions and cilantro in a plastic cup with a plastic cap. Cilantro and pepper in packets… It was kinda wasteful and not ecological

This local gem was recommended by a neighbor of mine. We lived block away and it was east to find with good parking spaces. Inside, we waited until we were seated and the hostess was incredibly sweet. Our servers were just as kind and accommodating. And the food was delicious! Menudo was just as good as Good Luck and the gorditas hit the spot! It’s one of my favorite places and my kiddos love it too! It’s homely, down to earth and makes you feel welcomed! I definitely recommend!

A down-to-earth and delicious eatery. Seriously why would anyone go to Village Inn or any other chain; especially for breakfast? The menudo is up there with the best I’ve had. Biscuits with gravy, chile rellenos, tacos: all the staples are great. It can get busy especially on the weekends so plan accordingly.

I was craving chicken fried steak, a waffle and some eggs. Googled breakfast around me and found this place. Never been here, but the pictures made the good look good plus they had exactly what I was craving. Got a warm greeting when we came in. The atmosphere was warm. It wasn’t crowded (noon). It was quiet. The only downside is that we couldn’t substitute the meat items for non-pork meat(my family and I don’t eat pork). Over all this place deserves the following rating:

Frankys has a great breakfast selection, if you love menudo i strongly suggest stopping in for a bowl on a weekend. Good lunch specials during the week as well. I also suggest the chicken tacos stuffed with plenty of chicken.
