Frannie and the Fox is delightful! The atmosphere is vibrant and elegant. The service was excellent. Very insightful about both the food and liquor on the menu. We did feel a little rushed, like being pushed course to course, but did not ruin the experience. The food was very good and reasonably priced for the location in Charleston. All around very good experience!

This was a great experience! Drink were great, food was great (really loved the pizzas!), and our server was very kind. It was a bit loud inside the restaurant but they are currently updating their walls to help correct that which was very encouraging. I would for sure recommend eating here! The decors was very well done and is very trendy (as is the hotel it’s in).

We loved Frannie & the Fox so much, that my friend and I came here twice during our stay in Charleston. Service was great, and the food even better! Highly recommend dining here at least once and be sure to make a reservation because this places books fast. The pizzas, meatballs and the arancini were our favorite!

This restaurant was in the hotel we stayed at (Emeline) so we decided to stop for Sunday dinner. The margarita pizza and pepperoni pizzas were both t great. The Margarita had fresh basil and a basil sauce, which was amazing. Caesar salad was great as well.

My friends and I visited from out of town and had a terrible experience. We even reached out to management but no response.

Frannie and The Fox is an extremely lively and charming restaurant in the hotel Emeline. It’s a noisy experience, but fun and energetic, and the food, overall, is delicious. They have a lot of fun cocktails that look great (we had 1 that was very tasty and quite complex). Most everything was prepared beautifully. Local shrimp with roasted tomato sauce and burnt lemon was wonderful, meatballs with marinara and ricotta were very flavorful, skirt steak with eggplant and roasted tomatoes was excellent. We have to pause here to say something more about that eggplant – truly brilliant. One of the best things we have ever tasted. Baby romaine salad was so fresh, crisp and sweet it tasted like it was just picked, and the dressing was beautiful. Finishing off with the strawberry semifreddo with almond crumble and strawberry rhubarb coulis was scrumptious and just right for summer. The only thing that was a little too salty and breaded was the crab fritters.

We shared, pizzas, pasta, meatballs and salad. The ragu and meatballs are amazing. Service was very good. And the drinks were tasty. The ambiance is very nice, calm and way to hold a conversation. Would recommend for date night or a special occasion.

We didn’t have reservations tonight for tonight due a few reasons: It was a Monday and I wasn’t feeling well. We are staying at the Emeline and decided to have a quick dinner. I was a little cranky when we were told that it would be about an hour and a half wait because they had a large party. However, they very kindly seated us and took care of us very quickly. I’m very thankful that they did because it was one of the best meals that I’ve had in Charleston. This week! We started with the meatball and whipped ricotta appetizer, which was delectable. Then we moved on to try the pizza; we tried the margarita and the pepperoni. Both were delicious, but the pepperoni was the winner for sure! It had a nice spice and it was very well cooked and seasoned. Last we brought it home with an Irish coffee, to help me kick this cold, and the tiramisu. Tiramisu. It was very interesting in its chocolate shell. I think we might make another trip here before we leave Charleston. Thank you again to the manager and the ladies at the hostess station, for taking care of us tonight!
