Im from Illinois and lived there all my life till i moved here and pizza is my top favorite dish…Fratellis ‘Chicago style’ pizza was a huge joke. I don’t know a single pizza place in Illinois that serves pizza in this style. I thought it was going to be a deep dish or a thin crust pizza cut into squares but this was something else. The pizza was very soggy, and the toppings were almost as if they were spread mostly in the middle and you can see that in the picture. There was way too much sauce on and in the pizza. It kind of gave me the vibe of uccellos stuffed pizza except Fratellis put sauce on the top layer crust and then sauce at the bottom layer crust. Some parts of the pizza tasted off to the point where it didn’t sit right in my stomach. The reason why I gave them three stars is because the food came actually warm from the distance my house was from their place. I ordered mozzarella sticks and those were really good mozzarella sticks, which they gave more sauce though. I believe they should change the name to stuffed pizza or Fratellis style pizza because that was just not a chicago pizza.

I was excited to order a pizza with the options offered at Fratelli’s. I have gluten and dairy allergies. I clearly asked for GF and DF pizza. I get home eat 2 slices of my pizza and look at the receipt and the receipt does not reflect what I ordered. I was very upset since this is not a choice. This was very disappointing! I called the restaurant and a young lady answered. I explained my situation and she looked into it. She stated she would refund me and asked if there was anything she could do (which was nice to hear)? No, you can’t because the damage is in my stomach! If you order anything from here make sure they repeat your order a few times to ensure you’re getting what you ordered.

Pizza was completely overcooked. Tasted burnt, smelled burnt. Toppings were dry. Please don’t serve this to your customers. Next time, toss it and bake another one. This 18″ pizza will go to waste. Poor ingredients! More respect towards your customers and ingredients!

We went for a small group wedding reception so didn’t really get to experience the menu, but what was part of the buffet was extremely tasty. I think my favorite thing turned out to be pizza with artichokes, feta, something I don’t know that was the star of the slice, and a drizzle of some kind. Anyhow chefs kiss to that. Drink was just okay, I expected more based on the description. All 8n all a decent place that I’d go to again.

The Meat board was probably the disappointing order I’ve had in the last year. Was expecting some more toppings… (maybe a chutney or a creamy cheese I mean anything really) not just meat and cheese and bread that wasn’t really that great. Plus it was expensive.

So bottom line, the food was excellent and the atmosphere was great. The only reason I didn’t rate higher was due to the service I received. I was the server’s only table and had to ask multiple times for condiments. When I asked for to-go containers, I was provided a bowl for a pizza that only had a piece eaten. The final issue that I have is that I didn’t receive correct change when I paid my check. My total was $XX.81. This means I should have received $XX.19 in change. I did not receive any coins back. My change was 19 cents short. I understand that it is only 19 cents, but it is mine to determine who gets it.

What a nice surprise. First off, where is everyone? Because they aren’t here, and they should be. We went in on a Friday night and there were 4 people there when we arrived. What?! We sat at the bar for ease of service and we had an excellent female bartender. She was attentive to us, explained the menu to us, made sure our drinks were always full, etc.
