Fantastic barbecue place. Probably one of the best I’ve ever had. Passed through Greenville and was hoping to find some good authentic southern cooking, and this place is so on point. Freddie knows how to throw it down in the kitchen. Wings were fantastic, spicy chicken sandwich was fantastic, you really just can’t go wrong here. Glad I got to experience this place, highly recommend.

This place is phenomenal. I was in Greenville for 10 days and we went to Freddie’s almost every day for lunch. The food is delicious. Best ribs, pulled pork sandwich, chicken sandwich, smothered chicken, yams, greens, catfish, you’ll ever have. You really can’t go wrong with what your order. And the staff is wonderfully friendly and welcoming. By the end of our trip they’d memorized our names. In a town where there’s not a ton of dining out options, Freddie’s is a locally owned gem.
