First time dining at the Helena Freddy’s and overall it was a good experience. Burgers and fries were hot, fresh and prepared just as we ordered. We had sundaes after our meal and they were also prepared as we requested. I only gave 2 stars for the atmosphere because the napkin holders were empty and there were no straws at the drink service area. When I asked, I was directed to the front counter were I could find these items myself. I also absolutely detest country music – and it was blasting. I expected the staff to break out in a country line dance at any moment. Even the grill guy was taping his spatula to the beat. Hey folks, this is not Texas Roadhouse. I will keep Freddy’s on my list of places to dine again, but I believe I’ll get my order to go so I don’t have to be inundated by the atmosphere.

Freddy’s is normally one of my favorite places to go get a burger. However, this visit was horrible. I placed a mobile order for pickup at about 6:22pm but did not receive my food until about 6:55 due to them being understaffed. This would have been okay but my order was completely wrong. I ordered the patty melt as a lettuce wrap but when I got home and looked at my order I don’t have any sign of lettuce. My burger was cold and my French fries were burnt. This is the worse experience I have had with Freddy’s. It may be a while before I return.

They make the food fresh so it takes a little longer in drive thru. I love the custom toppings options for the burger as well as the shakes. We ordered from the app for the first time and when we went inside they have a seperate pickup container to pick up a shake so you didn’t even have to go to the cash register which saved time because we didn’t have to wait in line.

They have the best patty melt ever. I could only hold half st the time. I saved the other for later. Even cold it is awesome. The cheese curds will fill you up. But be careful you will find yourself driving out of your way to get some. The shakes are too die for.

The best thing I can say about the place for the 10ish minutes that I was in the dining room is that the Key Lime Concrete tasted good until I found a hair which was to dark to be either the managers or mine. I chose not to go back in to have it remade be the manager on duty at the time harped on the kids working for him about making sure that they were getting their work done even though there was pretty much no one there at the time. Every time I got a glance at one of the kids’ faces after they had been spoken to by him it always seemed like they wished they were anywhere else. I can understand that managers are there to make sure everything runs smoothly, but I’ve heard it works better when they enjoy working with you. I do not recommend eating or working here until there is a change in management.

I’m giving 2 stars because I sat in the drive thru line for nearly 10 min before I pulled up to the speaker to be told they were closing early due to “the weather”. The storms had already moved thru and no more rain or storms were expected. It might have been understandable if it were close to closing time but it was 2 hours before the were supposed to close. Bad service, worse food. I walked up and placed an order, then stepped aside so my husband could place his. The employee took my order then started shouting towards the back, asking who wants to take his order because she is going on break (it’s the same ticket). Then they tell us they would call our number when our order was ready, so we sit. After about 15 minutes, we walk over to find our food sitting. No one called our number. My chicken tenders we like rubber! The onion rings were cold. I don’t mean “sat out all day” I mean “right out of the fridge”. I saw two employees wearing gloves to handle food, however they wore the same gloves to handle everything else (seems useless). The teens working are way more concerned with their friends visiting then anything else (as shown by the picture).

I’m a third party delivery driver. It took me 13 minutes to get here, then I waited 20 after that? Not a big order. If, as I suspect, delivery orders aren’t prepard until the driver arrives, please rethink this! The customer is paying more and already waiting longer for food from your establishment. Respect this, and be as prompt as an in person order! Consider also, we drivers aren’t making any money if we aren’t driving anywhere. We don’t get paid hourly.
