We discovered Freddy’s a few years back while out on a road trip. It was exciting to get the new one here close to home. The food is very good. The frozen custard is fantastic. It is not a very large menu but enough choices to have an enjoyable meal.

First off…please know they are “smash” burgers. So yes the hamburger patties are thin. But loved. I did the veggie burger. It was DELIGHTFUL. Loved it. And the fries….ABSOLUTELY DELISH! And for the shakes…YOU GET A SUPER FAT STRAW…thank you!

We popped over here after a quick restroom break a the nearby Buc-ee’s . It is easy on-off from I-45. The service was quick and efficient, as fast-food should be. The burgers are definitely an acquired taste here…they come with a standard two patties, but the patties are razor-thin, so maybe 1/4 pound all together. The fries are a hit…very thin and tasty. The shakes, custards, and concretes looked yummy, but are quite expensive (just as expensive as our burger meals), so we opted to pass on them this time.

I used to love Freddy’s when I lived in Bryan several years ago. When I got a chance to have it again I was so excited! I am a vegetarian so I always got the veggie burger and I remember it tasting great. This time it just tasted kind of bland and thawed in the microwave. I don’t know if they changed something or if I’ve had better veggie burgers since the last time. Their fries were alright but not as good as I remember, kind of a tad overcooked but seasoned really well. Their fry sauce and tea were fantastic! My mother-in-law got cheese curds and those were really tasty also. Melty and crispy and fresh.

I love the Steakburgers and that they are made to order. The custard is the best. It’s much better than ice cream. The staff is friendly and it doesn’t take long to get your order. The food is not already made, so the food is always hot.

I had a double jalapeño burger with pepper jack cheese. It was tasty in my opinion. Even though the patties are super thin they were still juicy. The french fries were warm and crispy also very thin. They weren’t over salted like you’d get from mcdonald’s. The vanilla custard with chunks of oeros add finished out the meal and was smooth and creamy not to sweet. On the negative side of things. The small burger, thin fries and small cup of custard are all over priced. $17 for one meal, so got to knock a star off for that. I forgot to say their sweet tea is good

Let me just say Customer service is top priority everyone was super nice. Food was delicious and that cluster ice cream is next everything. This location is every clean and food came out quick . Always an amazing experience at any Freddy’s in Texas. I cannot wait til they open the one in Burleson. Thank you guys and gals for the amazing food. Restaurant was clean and tidy. Placed orders for takeout custard only. After 15 minutes of waiting and lots of other customers who ordered before us milling about waiting too, I asked what the holdup was. Finally got told they were out of vanilla and were waiting for the machine to make more. Would have been nice to know at the time we ordered. Custard was good, but high priced for the quantity. Won’t order again.
