Look, this food is good. Like I would definitely come back. That guy on the grill wasn’t too kind but the food was still good. It’s a very small spot so I took mine to go. That lemonade is good. They only have their brand drinks… I think. Now they would have gotten 5 stars but this is where my problem is….why you charging me for your house sauce and mayo. That makes no sense. Also, they hand you 2 napkins per order. Smdh.

If you haven’t been to Fred’s, you NEED to! Best cheesesteak I’ve had hands down! If you go at lunch it does get BUSY! Along with their variety of Cheesesteaks, their spicy Mozzarella sticks are delicious! I’ve dined in and got take out. Both great experiences! You’re missing out terribly if you haven’t tried this before!

This place has all sorts of folk answering the phone. They use foil paper, and the juice runs through the paper. You take a bite of the steak sandwich, and the juice runs all over your close. They need better containers if they are going to over juice the sandwich. I called in and mentioned this to the young lady who answered the phone about the juice running out. Instead of her saying I’ll let the cook know. She tells me with a pinch voice customers like it like that. I said to her I was talking about me. I don’t want freaking juice running on my clothes. Then she repeated customers like it is juicy. I’m complaining about the cheap foil and my clothes. IN and Out Burger asked if you are eating the car. They give you a paper plate mat and a cardboard box to secure your close. I have been addressing this about a year. They make too much money to use cheap foil paper. I am done eating there. That person who answered the phone was unprofessional and a idiot.

I went to Fred’s today for lunch. It was a little distance from my office. It was definitely worth the trip. I was greeted when I walked in and the person taking my order was really friendly. Most of all, my Pepper Steak Philly Cheesesteak was delicious. It was great. Also, of note to me. The smell that used to be in there was completely gone. I will definitely be back and I would recommend this location to anyone I know.

Went to this place at around lunchtime, and was greeted by a nice gentleman at the counter, who had my order ready on the spot. The place itself had a good vibe to it, old and a bit run down, but to be honest, the state that it was in, went well with its aura and I liked it. I believe that I can easily say that the food in general was good and could be described as delicious. I ordered the #16 Marcellus Chicken Philly, and the serving came in a nice portion. A 10 inch philly, with a good combination of ingredients that enhanced its flavor and taste. The one star deduction is due to the bread that came with the sandwich. The bread internally was a bit too soft and when mixed with the ingredients of the philly, it led to some sogginess and reduction in utility. But, overall a good place, good food, good vibes, and recommendable!

I was highly anticipating having a pastrami sub . I had been craving one for about a week. Fred’s Downtown Philly had great reviews so I chose their restaurant over many others. I came during a non busy lunchtime, a little after 11am.
