Food was great as to be expected from a Fred’s but the staff wasn’t as welcoming or knowledgeable about the food or had the supplies to refill the soda machines. Overall still great food but the service was subpar. I will definitely continue to come to Fred’s for the amazing food. Well seasoned, tender, presentation is good, soda choices choice be better, spicy mozzarella sticks were homemade and delicious, onion rings are beer battered, and overall a really good hole in the wall to get a amazing tasting cheesesteak. Don’t forget the napkins. It’s gonna get messy

Disappointed . I m a huge fan of Philly cheesesteak sandwiches and was super excited to try this one. Atmosphere felt dark, but not cozy and inviting. Almost forgotten. The staff of 2 are young with little to no training in customer service. Once received the sandwiches the bread was cold with hot meat inside… I’m used to it being warmed up and maybe even a little butter on the inside ♀️. Just me maybe. Well they offer sweet potato fries and I thought I’d try them too. Well, if you like this great but I wasn’t warned ⚠️ then they put sugar and cinnamon on them. So, when I said I didn’t want them I was told to buy another portion because this was how the company did it everytime. I let her know I should have been asked though. Anyway, just Disappointed. I hope I’m a one off, but the combination of the experience and taste makes this a no for the future.

Love this place. Outside of Philadelphia, it’s the best cheesesteak I’ve had. My favorite is the pepper cheese steak. My only complaint is the soda machine. I tasted all of the different sodas and they literally all tasted like pure sugar. I’m not sure if the carbonation was off or what. I did see an employee keep looking at the soda machine so maybe it was just an off day. I’m really glad this place has weathered the economic instability and managed to stay open for several years. Every time I’m in Lewisville I try to get over here.

I liked the fried pickles alot. I had the veggie and it was actually a little spicy for me. My fries were good they just got cold fast. It’s on the pricier side to me. I ended up spending over $40 for 3 but food was pretty good

Awesome place in a small corner. We’ve been coming by here for years and haven’t noticed it. Glad we did. The young cashier was awesome. Very nice, very welcoming, and explained the menu to us without issues. And the food was awesome. Definitely recommend.

Every time I come to this Fred’s they can never make what I order. They always seem to be out of ingredients. What a poor way to run a business. It would seem they need to eliminate half their menu if they can’t be bothered to have the ingredients needed
