My husband is a Philly native and has his preference of water ice establishments. But we found this one closer to the house and he was satisfied. We’ve tried a few places and this one is the best in the northeast. The only downside was they said the funnel cake would take 15mins. The only reason I didn’t give them 5 stars was because they didn’t have funnel cake made in a shorter amount of time. But the water ice is DEFINITELY 5 stars!!! The watermelon flavor as well as blueberry is vibrant and not watered down.

They do no have all items that are listed in the menu as available. I drove from far to get funnel cakes because is listed as “active item on the menu”, after I waited a long time in a line that was barely long, about 20-30 mins waiting in that line, there was no funnel cake to be sold.

Long lines & slow service! I got the rum water ice but it wasn’t even good! It wasn’t sweet enough and didn’t even have a good rum flavor!! I must say that they do have a very extensive menu tho! I’ll give em another try because I like supporting black owned businesses!

Black owned! Which I love. My wife and I gave up Rita’s a long time ago to spend our money here. The pizza pretzel is so good and they even bbq real chicken and shrimp on a stick with rice under a little tent right next to the walk up window. Like I said, its black owned so this is where we love to go.

Water ice had no flavor, but lots of food coloring. Cups water ice served in are cheap flimsy quality. No comparison to Rita’s. Will never go there again.
