I had expected that Frencheez would be a fun retro dinning experience and while the décor has some nice features (old albums and concert cards), the menu doesn’t really match the atmosphere. We started with the fried cauliflower which was good but the entries were horrible. Neither of us finished our meals. The stir-fry which, should have been a slam dunk, lacked flavor and the fried chicken TV dinner was worse. The fried chicken was over cooked. It was deep fried to the point of being almost burnt and lacked flavor. There was some sort of sauce or cheese in the middle that I never did figure out. The sides were better. The corn was roasted, the strawberry cake moist, and the mac & cheese was tasty although the pasta wasn’t cooked enough. We heard others around us commenting on how good the quesadillas were so, we may give Frencheez another try.

Stopped in on our way back from Canada and had a great meal. Owners were incredibly kind and welcoming, food was delicious, and our 6 year old said it was one of the best quesadillas she’s ever had. If you’re looking for a kid friendly spot with a great atmosphere and prosecco on tap this is your spot!

Brought my kids in for dinner tonight and we all loved it! My BBQ pork burger was everything I hoped it would be (and those fries!) kids had chicken strips and poutines with enough to bring home leftovers.

So nice to have great food local Rouses Point needs more spots like this, love the menu and staff were really pleasant. We got nachos which were awesome, and the queso was super tasty! Inside decor was so cute with the 70’s theme, can’t wait to bring friends in to eat and hang out at the bar! Highly recommend!

We have ordered take-out from here twice over the past few weeks. The first time we called, we were left hanging on hold for almost 10 minutes. (Oops! Mistakes hapoen!) But since we live within a couple of minutes’ walking distance, my partner just walked over instead. We both ordered Classic burgers, which were delicious! And the fries had an unexpected but tasty seasoning. Not sure where the pickle spears are from, but they seemed fresh and had good crunch.
