Fresco Beignet Café and Buena Vista Banquet Hall have been operated by Cheryl, Dana and their family since October 2016. Driving around the Ward Hill industrial/business park, I stumbled across it. It is very convenient to the ice hockey rink. They’ll deliver for free with a $15 minimum, so I suggest you and your fellow hockey parents order in some coffees and snacks.

This review is for Friendsha Cafe’s beignets. We got 4 for $11. Rather than being small ball pastries, these were larger puffed squares with powdered sugar. A slightly fried dough-esque surface with a chewy and delicious center. Very good and very cheap compared to other places. We recommend calling ahead as they make these to order (takes about 10 minutes). 🙂

Currently sitting in drive up 1 hour after they closed and we are still being served and with some of the nicest staff I have ever met. 5 stars all the way and our apologies for being so late and not seeing the time. Cheryl’s attitude and customer service are what small businesses are made of. We will definitely be back!

Ok, NOLA has nothing like these beignets! These are the best I’ve ever had by far. This place is a hidden gem and literally everything is delicious. The owners are super sweet and seem very passionate, which is rare these days. Definitely ordering again, thank you!
