While in the area, visiting from California, we drove by this place and decided to stop in for food. The place looked really welcoming and inside was clean and well kept. The food was pretty good especially when compared with Mexican food from California. The salsa was fresh and other sauces were great. I had a burrito, others in our group had tacos and the nacho plate.

Definitely try Baja’s. The food is really good. The staff will help you out choosing what to put on what ever you order. The do have wheat wraps. Guacamole is very good better than Chipotle. The burritos could feed 2 people.

i’m not a person to write a review, but this was EASILY one of the best meals i’ve ever had in my life. the price: incredibly reasonable, the food: sooooo filling and they aren’t shy with servings, and it tastes amazing and so flavorful. the service was also incredible. wow.

First time my husband and I came here. Place was nice and clean. I was excited to try this place but when I ate my burrito i knew it wasnt that good. Burrito was dry, i tried getting queso to help it. I got a California burrito with french fries in it. Which sounds cool but I wish the fries could have gotten reheated on the grill. I couldnt even finish the burrito. You can tell the ingredients arent as fresh. My husband had a steak burrito which he said was good. We also order the cheesy bacon fries, which were cooked on the grill. Came out steaming hot! The fries were so good! Not sure what made it so good but I could not stop eating them. I would be willing to come back here to maybe try the tacos or the quesadillas.

I love the Baja’s in Wakefield. I go every Friday with an individual who has special needs and I am his support staff. They treat us like gold. We love their food and the atmosphere is casual, comfortable and friendly. They have 2 loyal customers right here. I certainly can’t say that about every place I take my guys to, so it makes Baja’s a real local gem.
