Our lunch was very good. The ham and cheese sandwich was my favorite. The perfect blend of cheese, bread and meat. The bread is not simple white or wheat, but an interesting herby bread that adds to the experience. The tomato soup was an excellent pair

My husband and I stopped in for an afternoon coffee while enjoying the shops downtown. I don’t know what type of beans you’re using, but this was the creamiest, richest, most delicious coffee we’ve had in a long time. WOW! Two thumbs up. Great customer service as well.

This cafe is wonderful! Quiet with an artsy feel. My chicken salad and fries was amazing. Loved the young woman who took out order-very informative and funny, too. The homemade strawberry cake was to die for… You must visit! Oh and, Bardstown is a fun spot for a day trip. Lots of little shops to explore!

A lovely nook and great first stop if you’re driving in early for a day exploring Bardstown. We read about this place in “Kentucky Bourbon Country” and we’re intrigued and entertained by the name, since in print it looks like the place is literally called “fresh coffee.” We like it.

We were so disappointed. 2 pour overs took 30 minutes and tasted like water. Meanwhile about a dozen people got their coffee who ordered after us. What a waste of time and rip off. And my father ordered a pour over and got a daily brew coffee.

The 49ers fan barista behind the counter was so friendly and pleasant it made my day. Just as importantly though, the espresso this place serves is incredible. I grew up in New York and lived in Seattle for years so I like to think I have a pretty high expectations when it comes to coffee, and this was some of the best I’ve tried in recent memory. If I’m ever in the area again there’s a 100% chance I’ll come back here! In fact, I’ll probably go out of my way to make a return trip.

Nice atmosphere and friendly staff, but the place could use soft music. Without music it seems more like a library or museum and is a bit awkward. Got a cold brew and asked for a “little cream” and it came out majority cream. Should have taken it back but they were really busy with lunch rush. The BBQ pork sandwich was really good though. I will come back and try a different drink.

This is a great coffee place downtown Bardstown. The metal chairs are not as comfortable if you are planning on staying for a while, but there are other seating areas.
