This was one of my favorite fish markets. Went there the other day and I don’t know if the original cook was on vacation but my wings were fried in fish grease and they were hard as hell. I go back the next day for lunch and the fish was fried hard as hell . It was hot but hard . I think they are using old grease. I know things are tight but they need to thro away old grease and not cook with it. I will go back one more time and hopefully the original cook will be back.

Been there several times love the catfish bought some tilapia those cook so hard I couldn’t eat it that only happened once I still go for the salmon and the catfish each time I go I buy at least four to five pounds customer services quite a well staff is very polite very respectful food is not cooked sitting in the heat lamp waiting for you to cook the order so prepare to wait but the quality of food is worth it it’s not overseasoned it’s slightly seasoned I think it’s good for anyone who’s diabetic except for the fact it’s breaded and not heavy-handed with seasoning like Captain Jay’s or some other restaurants like Manhattan good quality of food may have some pretty good desserts as well and you can also buy Lobster crab legs frog legs hard to find items and they’re cooked their steam while you wait and they offer raw fish sales for anyone on on EBT the employees make the store very respectful and just all around good people

Yayyyy, I finally found out how to give my rating . My husband and I lived in Redford, MI for 16 wonderful years. We recently moved to Southfield, MI but literally ALWAYS come to the Fish Place on Telegraph near Joy Rd. Every time we have a party or even a small gathering, they don’t disappoint❤️.
