First time trying this place and it did not disappoint! We got banh beo from their pre-made foods section to go, which is hard to find in Austin. While it wasn’t the best banh beo I’ve ever had, it was pretty tasty and I’ll take what I can get! Will definitely be back in the future to try some of their other dishes – particularly looking forward to their banh cuon.

They have a good buon rieu and bun bo especially if you don’t like the fermented shrimp taste. Theirs isn’t as strong. I also love buying their fresh tofu and banh cuon by the lb or 1/2 to go. Not many places in austin have fresh banh cuon.

I dunno about anyone else, but this is the most disgusting place I’ve ever been to. I’d give us zero stars if I could. The noodle soup is so bland and it isn’t even real bún riêu… no veggies or anything. Bún riêu is a tomato based soup and this surely isn’t it at all, definitely didn’t have tomato flavor of any sort. Bland and gross… it didn’t even have Vietnamese crab cake in there, they put Vietnamese meatloaf in there, totally throwing off the flavor profile of what should be a rich and decadent soup. And don’t even get me start on the cockroach I found in my soup… found it a few bites in and that was it for me. I used to lose this place for the snack foods and all, but you best believe I don’t plan on coming back. If there’s a roach in my soup, I definitely don’t wanna know what sort of cleaning standards or hygiene this place has. Yuck!

Pork hock and fish cake rice noodle soup was delicious. My husband and I might have dosed ourselves with too much sodium by drinking all of the soup, we got very groggy immediately after lol. The banh cuon was not available when we came, it seems to be the bestseller, will have to come back and try it.

This is a mom/pop and hole in the wall. please don’t come here expecting fine dining service. the food is amazing and authentic. i specifically like their canh bun, bun dau mam tom, banh cuon, and bun mam. we also would grab the premade take outs for dinner. the owners are kind and friendly and they sometimes offer my kids free pastries.

I got the hot soy milk drink and the tofu pudding with the ginger syrup. They were so good! The drink was creamy and the syrup was perfect. Reminded me what I used have as a kid.

This is my go to place whenever I want to buy freshly made tofu rather it be the tofu blocks or the fried tofu. When you eat the fried tofu you can taste the soy bean flavor. When I buy store bought tofu, it never taste the same. They also sell soy bean milk by the half gallons. Asian soy bean milk is different than the soy milk you get from American grocery stores. It is not as thick in consistency, not as sweet, and you and more soy bean taste. They sell soy bean milk in sweetened or unsweetened. I always get the tofu soup or tau foo fah. They leave the ginger syrup on the side so you can adjust the sweetness as you please. The tau foo fah is so soft and silky. Thumbs up the best I have had in Austin. They also have many Vietnamese dishes too such as banh cuon. Definitely a local mom and pop place of Austin.

An amazing mom and pop shop. We love their authentic vietnamese dishes! My fave here is the Bun Mam, Cahn Bun, and husband loves their lemongrass filled Bun Bo Hue! I’m also an avid tofu lover and their fresh tofu does not disappoint. It’s tough to find fresh quality homemade comfort food. I’m too lazy to cook Viet dishes for my husband (he’s Viet-Chinese) so we have takeout here on those days. Will be back!
