Had a delicious breakfast today! There were five of us in our party, the service was excellent. Our waiter was very friendly and attentive. We all raved about the food and will absolutely go back. Highly recommend!

Stopped in for lunch with out of town guests. Christopher took very good care of us. Burgers were huge and cooked perfectly as requested. ABC salad has a surprising taste of mustard which balanced the sugary pecans. The Turkey Gobbler was raved by both who devoured it! So glad to see this place open. A much needed addition to the area.

Just had amazing breakfast. Eggs Benedict with home fries. Homemade raspberry jam on a glazed grilled croissant. Absolutely decadent! Service is super friendly. Facilities clean. Definitely coming back frequently.

Food was delicious. I got a Greek salad. Friend got the Caprese Omelet (a special). Both looked and tasted great! They had signs saying that they were short-staffed, but the staff that was there was attentive and very nice.

Very bad experience…Took them 15 min to serve us and sat 6 of us at a dirty table. Then after asked us what we wanted to eat without any menus in our hands! Finally we got drinks after 30 min. Took another 45min to 1 hour to get our food. On top of that my little brother got food poisoning!!! Been sick the whole day. Terrible service…do not recommend.

Friendly waitstaff, delicious food, coffee and Mimosas. Try the Garden Shingle. So good! The fresh fruit was fresh. The side of bacon was cooked perfectly. Not a single complaint.

We took vacation in Alton for the week of the 4th of July. We tried freshwater cafe on Monday and had a great breakfast. We have been back every day since expect Wednesday because they were closed. Absolutely the best breakfast I have had.

WOW, a great new spot for breakfast in Alton!! The overall winner was the double egg breakfast sandwich with bacon and cheddar on the homemade biscuit… coupled with mimosa’s (fresh OJ), and great coffee!!!
