OMG the chicken sandwich with the white sauce is incredible. Everything is fresh and delicious. Made to order. I’ve got a lot of exploring to do with this place I can tell. Thanks for everything. Very accommodating. WHOOPS – Unfortunately my review dropped to one star because Melissa swiped my card twice & blocked almost $100 for a $30 meal and was really unapologetic about the whole situation. There’s a lotta good smoked meat places around. Don’t come here.

Spacious BBQ place in New Orleans. Great service, good portioned meals from sandwiches, wings, bbq meats and more. The milkshake was the most attractive dessert. Nice selection of drinks. Service was great.

The hot honey chicken is where it’s at. Absolutely incredible and that’s with the coleslaw and the aioli taken off. (I then put the aioli on and it made it just as good too). The fries leave nothing to be desired UNTIL you had that brisket chili on top, then the fries went from meh to MINE. The pulled pork was ok and got a little bit better once I added a bunch of bbq and sriracha aioli to it. (I’ve yet to find a pulled pork sandwich that’s truly impressed me). Last and certainly least, was the max and cheese. The presentation was great but I wasn’t impressed by it at all. DEFINITELY COME HERE AND GET THAT HOT HONEY CHICKEN SANDWICH THOUGH.

Brisket: the brisket was sliced, slightly cold, and lean. If you’re used to high quality high end brisket, you’ll be disappointed. But for New Orleans, it’s not bad.

I don’t remember coming here, and I don’t really remember what I ordered honestly, but looking back at these pictures I’m wondering about the next time I can come back to New Orleans and eat here again!!

Nothing I say here is meant to discourage others from trying out Frey. I would have preferred softer bread on my meat platter on which was some really dry brisket. The other meats were great. The burger patties REALLY need to be cooked less. The jalapeño Mac is awesome!

My oh my, what an incredible dining experience!!! No one does BBQ like Frey. The ribs here— DELICIOUS! The pulled pork may be some of the best I’ve ever had, and you can’t go wrong with the brisket either. The cornbread is also a must have! If you’re looking for a burger I’d recommend the half and half, it’s my dad’s absolute favorite. I thought I was done, but I have to say something about their shakes. These guys are giant and almost look too good to eat!!! Such a good treat to end the meal.
