I love it! Food was delicious! The spicy salsa was super hooooot! try the ice pop! I got pecan flavor, and it was stunning! The first ingredients is milk then come with cream instead of sugar. I felt like I’m eating some homemade real ice cream. And a lot pecan inside. Try it!

Frida’s Cocina; I am new to Mexican cooking , so i’m not familiar with the recipe specifics. I came across this gem while looking online for something different. The pictures on the website are not usually true to life however, in this instance it was. I walked in to a clean well kept small business with a welcoming atmosphere. I was greeted with a warm welcome , and helped promptly. The portions were gratuitous, the host was gracious, and the food was flavorful and fresh. It was a wonderful introduction to traditional Mexican cuisine. I appreciate the care taken in the preparation of this meal. I will be back again.

Salsa is a huge deal breaker for me when it comes to Mexican restaurants. Fridas’s instantly had me wrapped around their finger when I tasted my first chip with salsa! It had the perfect amount of spice and tomatoey flavor. I kept it simple and ordered the street tacos on flour tortillas. The chicken was very flavorful and the tortillas were warm and toasted, making for a great experience. I will definitely be back to try more options!

Recently moved to the area and wanted to try somewhere different. Lately I have been craving tacos and saw the reviews on this place, so thought we’d give it a try. I went with a two star rating because the staff was nice, the location was convenient, food smelled great, and the presentation was lovely. However, it was sad that I asked for my ingredients to be on the side and they weren’t. $4 for ( Carne Asada) tacos and they left a horrid taste in my mouth (no flavor), never happened before anywhere else. My husband normal doesn’t have much to say when trying new places. He got the chicken and rice with the white sauce, which was no good in his opinion. In our experience it was a waste of money.

This place is awesome! My husband and I just moved here from Florida, and the food in the Midwest is usually bland compared to what we have back home. Frida’s Cocina is the opposite of bland and reminds me of home! The food has never disappointed. Always fresh, and always delicious! Definitely try it out if you want good authentic, flavorful, Mexican food.

See this plate, it’s empty because I eat every last drop. Best Mexican food I have ever had. Amazing service, good atmosphere. This place is gonna explode if he wants it too. Definitely coming back anytime I’m in a 100 mile radius of this place. Casa Maria should be on your bucket list, you should go for your birthday, and have them cater your wedding. You will not be unsatisfied.
