Amazing food and cocktails in a perfect setting. From the first course, your taste buds are awoken by culinary perfection. The servers are elite and very knowledgeable about the menu (and off menu cocktails)!

This was beyond delicious. Just the right amount of food. Relaxed, genuine service. Great cocktails, wine, and food. It’s not easy to delight at this price point, but F, S, S easily pulls it off. I couldn’t recommend a meal here more highly.

If you’re only in Philly for a day, make sure to visit on a day when FSS is open and be sure to get dinner reservations. This place is quite possibly the best thing Philly has to offer. We arrived a little early and grabbed drinks at the bar downstairs, where Paul took care of us. The drinks were great – the best cocktails we had while we were in Philly! Our table was ready before we finished our drinks, so we closed our tab and headed upstairs. The dining room is comfortable and cozy while not feeling pretentious. Andrew served us throughout the night, making sure we thoroughly enjoyed our time at FSS and entertaining our questions about where to go after dinner for additional drinks. The tasting menu was delicious and unique. Each dish had a comfortable and familiar feel, while tasting completely new. We were celebrating a couple of things during our visit, and they took the time to acknowledge both – I would definitely recommend this place to celebrate a special occasion.

Great place for a candlelight dinner or date night on a special occasion. The food was great as well. Service was also great and our server also recommended a great wine to go along with our meals. It was our anniversary celebration so the chef also sent a couple extra items in between the first and second course and at the end after dessert. Nothing extraordinary but a pretty good deal for 150 $ per person tasting menu.

An incredible gastronomic experience. Nominated this year as a James Beard Best Restaurant! The tasting menu with the wine pairing upgrade is the way to go.

I’m at a lost for words for this place, I came in with not knowing what to expect and walked away with way past any expectations I could have had shattered. I normally don’t like lamb but their take on the meat completely won me over. The quail was amazing it’s 10/10 the second best dish only behind the tomatoes dish with creme fraiche, blackberry, eggplant which was completely breathtaking I took one bite and stopped eatting I had to enjoy every flavor. It is the absolute best dish I have ever had, I would recommend 100 times over, come and enjoy.

I came here by bus on a Sunday evening in mid June 2022. Through the online reservation, you pay for the $130-meal upfront. Including tax and gratuity, it came out to $169 total per person – all paid upfront, which was nice because, unless you want the wine pairing, you do not have to worry about anything when you get there.
