The fried rice is a must. Maybe that’s why they are called Fried Rice Express, because the fried rice is so good! Strawberry banana boba has good flavor, tapioca isn’t too hard or too soft. Boba is a little thicker than what I am used to, but it is really good.

Coming from an East Asian background, I already have low expectations for Asian cuisine in the US. This is beyond low. Given, it could be preferences. However, I got Beef Stir-Fried Udon and Thai Milk Tea Boba Tea. The beef are so overcooked that it’s chewy and dry. I’ve never had wetter Stir-Fried noodles than this. The entire bottom of the container is covered in a quarter inch of water/sauce/fluid. Not only that, the Thai Tea was extremely bitter, and it tastes more like green tea than Thai Tea: making me think that they heavily diluted the Thai tea with green tea, Thai tea is a type of black tea and have a very different taste and profile than green tea. That aside, the boba is extremely overcooked, either overcooked or I was served with leftover boba, it just melts in your mouth, which should not ever happen with boba. I just cannot imagine messing up boba like this. I have cooked boba in my own home before and it didn’t even get this bad. I have higher expectations for the cooks who are Asians themselves to know how to cook Asian cuisine. Alas, I was hugely mistaken. I had some expectations for food and drinks that are priced in this range, and they failed to meet even the baseline of those expectations.

I have eaten here for the third and last time. The white rice tastes like minute rice. All 3 times have been awful. I admit that I have ordered the same basic stuff each time- White rice with some form of fried breaded chicken and sauce. It is possible that other items on the menu would be good. The chicken I get is 90% breading by weight, and I am not sure how this happens. The nuggets are somehow way overcooked. The price is what I would expect from a fast food Chinese restaurant, but it is no good as I simply can’t eat the food I order.

Really yummy food! I love how sweet the orange chicken was. The person who helped me was very kind and my food was ready without a couple minutes (I was there around 2pm)

This place is massively underrated. Both the flavors of the orange chicken and the sesame chicken were on point as well as the noodles. Came in around 7 and they were apt to quickly whip up this masterpiece for us. The only gripe I have is the fried rice! The fried rice was sweet and didn’t have enough vegetables.

I just came here, got chow mein, orange chicken and haunian tofu. What a waste of money. It’s dry and cold ☹️ I do wish this place was better run and not so terrible. Could be a really delicious place. Heading to city Creek for McDonald’s now

I think this must be under new ownership. The food here used to be good. The noodles were delicate and delicious. Now, there is no flavor. The fried rice is only soy sauce and some frozen peas and carrots – gross. This may be suitable for people who don’t know what fried rice should taste like, but it is not good. The orange chicken has okay flavor but everything it’s heavenly breaded and greasy.

This place has good affordable food but the quality is not even close to Panda Express.

I just ordered delivery & got the dumpling meal w/egg drop soup, I got wontons, my husband got kung Pao, fried rice & honey crisp shrimp, and we both got bobas. The coconut banana is delicious and my husband got strawberry banana !!! Food was nice & warm, delicious, & they added enough sweet & sour and soy sauce in the bag. Also, love my fortune cookie Will definitely order again!!
