Did even realize there were still Friendly’s left in New Jersey. I was so hungry and this was the closest restaurant near me. Place was clean. Service was good and my burger and fries were delicious. Nothing fancy (and no, I didn’t get any ice cream) but it was an enjoyable experience.

The food was mediocre. The doritos that came with my burger were stale. I’ve been here since 1:17 its now 2:10 and still haven’t received our sundaes after our meal nor the check. I finished my tea before the waitress even came back with my lemon. It’s not even that busy. Our leftover food was left on the table when we were done. We won’t be back

After standing in front for a few minutes a man came out and told us someone will be with us in a minute. Five minutes later a young man came and told us we could not be served because they are short staffed. If that was the case why leave us standing there and not say something right away or better yet put up a sign so people can leave. Went south on 23 a little ways and stopped at the diner. Wonderful food and service. We will not be going back to Friendly’s.

We sat for 20 minutes and no one even came over to take a drink order. I went looking for the manager who is some young confused looking gentleman who smiled at me and said someone will be right over 5 minutes later nobody came so we walked out the atmosphere was very loud for the amount of people that were in there. The staff seemed like a circus with no ringmaster. The tables and seats were sticky and gross. One of their waitresses was even eating while she was assistant customers how disgusting.

i love this place, but i’m annoyed. twice in a row i have ordered and my drinks have been forgotten. first time was an order for pickup, so when i noticed on the way home i turned around and went back to get them. annoying, but not a big deal. this second time was an order for delivery. i don’t know if someone’s trying to keep my shirley temples for themselves, or is just genuinely forgetting every time, but it’s really making me upset because those drinks are the thing i look forward to most when ordering from Friendly’s! :(( aside from that everything is always good.

If you have the opportunity to stop at this restaurant, don’t. Keep driving. This has possibly been the worst dining experience I’ve had in many years. After one hour of waiting, I told them to not bother with my coffee. Another half hour passed before I went to my car to get a bottle of water. My meal was forgotten…and when brought, not so much as an apology. We were the only customers at 1 PM…that should have been a clue. The only reason we stayed was because we’d gotten kids settled in. One star, because that’s the fewest I can do.

Came to Friendly’s to have lunch with a friend and our daughters. What a mistake. Food was burnt and portions were small. Our bill was over 100 dollars. How is chicken fingers and fries $20. Ridiculous. And you they get a kick back if they can avoid giving out napkins and straws. They also were out of both ice cream items our girls wanted. So disappointed. No wonder it is always empty when I drive by. Used to be a favorite. Sadly not ever again.

Food was subpar, and they ran out of CLEAN dishes and SILVERWARE! Had to eat our appetizer on napkins. Supermelt sandwich was just a regular sandwich, nothing super about it, but the cost. Only got a half cup of soup……
