Several times now have I ordered here and waited well over 20 minutes for food. Never does this business apologize or nothing. Are y’all lazy or just inconsiderate? Doesn’t matter if busy or slow they will never get you your food quicker than snails pace. I’ve seen different managers on duty but I can tell you none of them care. Terrible, just avoid the place all together.

They’ve done something here to improve the speed and quality of the food. Seems like the time to wait for food has always been long at any Friendly’s we’ve been to in the past 20 years, but this spot has gotten better, and I hope it stays that way. Staff is pleasant, which is also a plus.

Springfield Mall location was great! I brought my two sons in for dinner, and our server was great. Our drinks and appetizers came out in a timely fashion, and our food came out giving us enough time to enjoy and finish our appetizers. Only took a star away for the dining area being small.

I love their food and the prices aren’t too high either. Edited 5/22/22: This Friendly’s is much missed by myself and my younger brother. He is severely mentally disabled and will, at times, talk incessantly about Friendly’s and wanting to go there and I have to keep reminding him that Friendly’s is gone and they’re no longer anywhere in this area anymore. I don’t even know when it’s going to be safe to take him somewhere for indoor dining but, if the COVID-19 cases dropped back down to the level that they were a few months ago and this Friendly’s reopened, you know where I’d be taking him to eat!

I absolutely love, love, love Friendly’s in Springfield Mall. That place has been there for EONS. I remember going there with my grandmother when I was about 7, or 8, years old and have been going ever since. It always evokes memories of childhood for me. The food is still great as it was then The menu has expanded since then of course, but they actually still have some of the original items from back in the day. I was there last week and they’ve also recently redone the place really nice. Friendly’s is an institution at the mall. MY son and I had ice cream cones, sat on the beach , talked and it was great. I wish I could give a better review, but time and again, we go here and it’s just a mess. The tables are poorly cleaned. The place smells bad.
