We were served a Taco Bar for the rehearsal dinner for my daughter’s wedding group that included 40 people! Joe communicated very clearly with us and kept in contact while navigating changes. The staff was attentive and took great care of our guests. I have never had chicken tacos that tasted this good! Many of our guests commented on this simple, yet very meaningful dinner. I had the Pile Driver and even though I’m a simple cheese burger kind of guy, the Double Everything Bacon Cheeseburger with Secret Sauce On Toast was Hands Up and Mouth Full the BEST BURGER I have EVER Had…! Drinks were mixed strong as well. I was filled to Perfection.

I’ve been a regular at this bar for over a yr and a half now. Tonight I was there for karaoke, dinner, and a drink. I had the mini tacos, 3 Pepsi, 3 water, and a double shot of Rumplemints on ice. I do not usually get charged for more than one Pepsi. Hanna you know me. It’s close to what I order every week and I usually tip very well. Usually 30% to 50% of the tab. However, tonight was the 2nd time a new waitress charged me for three Pepsi. First off when you eat one refill comes with your food purchase. Thats two Pepsi. When you order shots, it’s general knowledge you get one chaser with each shot. Thats a total of 4 Pepsi. I should only have been charged for one Pepsi. When I went to let the bartender know. He tried to say I was being aggressive, which I was not. Hanna you know me I am not aggressive. I have been around bars all my life my father was a musician and I, a karaoke host and dance instructor. This is what bartenders do when they are trying to get someone barred from the place because they dont like something that happened. Because he accused me of being aggressive twice I left no tip. Good job bartender and waitress the tab was 58.77. The tip would of been about 30.00. Now you get nothing for trying to tell me I was aggressive when I was not and the waitress was not tipped for over charging. Both of them should of known. Then again maybe they dont know what they are doing. This is business and 2 Pepsi may of cost Friends Bar a customer that spends about 60 every time there and the associated tips that will not happen as a result. Is you losing a customer because of both the overcharge and a bartenders attitude really what you want, owners and management? Hanna has my number around there somewhere if owners or management want to discuss this. Or you can ask me to call you in your response to this review. If it even matters.

Great food and service with a friendly atmosphere and decent prices. Typical bar menu but they do run specials like the hot beef commercial in my included photos. Lots of television’s (7 in all). Very clean place as well compared to others.

I hadn’t been to this place since I was a teenager, my mom was a regular patron before she passed away and she used to bring us kids there for a good meal. I just went with my fiancé and it didn’t disappoint. My Bloody Mary was strong, so they aren’t stingy with the liquor. We ordered an appetizer thinking we were really hungry, ended up not needing it as our entrees were more than filling, huge portions! Food was delicious! We had to take a bunch of food to go. Thanks for the memories and atmosphere.❤️
