I had heard great things about this place, and I tried it. The food servings are big, and the food was good, but I definitely didn’t need any more food after that meal. The service was good, she kept us up to date with our order and kept our cups full. The building was nicely decorated with rustic wall paintings and rustic decor. The only thing I didn’t like was the volume of the music – it was kind of loud. I would probably come back.

Ordered the Friends Omelette w/ Biscuits & Gravy and a Fruit Cup. It truly was one of the best breakfasts I have ever had the pleasure to enjoy eating. First time ever trying them and will be back soon again for sure. SIX STARS if I could!!!

Tried to play me for a fool. I ordered a sandwich with no toppings, it was delivered with everything, including pickles that make me physically ill, so I asked for it to be remade since the pickles had soaked into the breading. Waitress acted like it was a big deal ‘can’t you just take it off?’ NO, I can’t remove pickle juice from breading. Less than 2 minutes later, I had the same patty, likely refried with half melted off cheese and a fresh slice unmelted. Shame, because I loved the food prior to this visit, but I will not be back!

Tried friends diner for breakfast the other day and it was delicious. Typical family diner, on the small side and nothing fancy about it. Service was friendly and the food came out fast and all for a reasonable price. We both really enjoyed both our meals. The biscuits were great and the gravy had a good flavor but I didn’t see much sausage in it. The French toast was good too, made me think of Cracker Barrel. Just wish they offered fried potatoes but that’s just a personal preference. They do offer regular hash browns, hash brown casserole, or red potatoes that my son had and he said they were cooked perfect. We’ll definitely be back.

Exactly what you hope for from a local diner. Tucked into a teeny, tiny strip mall in New Whiteland this place has country charm decor with giant murals of tractors, farms and fields. Breakfast is an option ALL day. Prices are very fair especially for the portion sizes. I had the pork tenderloin sandwich which is a Hoosier treat. Potato lovers rejoice because they have all kinds of options including baked, casserole, fried, fries and mashed. I’d totally come back for breakfast and I experienced a bit of envy when the tables around me ordered the meatloaf. If you’re on the south side, and hankering for home cooking check this out!

The Swiss Melt Burger was delicious. After the first bite I was hooked. The juicy burger flavor was accentuated by the sweet caramelized onions, and the tangy 1000 Island Dressing on perfectly toasted Texas Toast. The onion rings were perfectly cooked and had a nice crispy outer crust. My son enjoyed his cheesy quesadilla. Our server was friendly, attentive and helpful.
