This place came highly recommended but the food had some issues sadly. The chicken I had was great with mushrooms and cream sauce…great but my colleagues were not so fortunate. My husband’s steak was cold. So cold that the butter didn’t melt. It was terrible. The wings ordered by another in our party were not good. The chips were Phenomenal! Those are the bomb and they just cannot be duplicated! The atmosphere is absolutely precious the train and the idea of the dining car is awesome. Service was fantastic.

Excellent service! I ordered the Cuban, and it was the BEST Cuban sandwich I ever had! The homemade chips were delicious as well as the spinach/artichoke dip. I definitely rate this place 5 stars!

ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE!! If you are a local or just passing thru, put this on your to do list. Frisco melt was amazing, fries perfectly seasoned, the roast beef on garlic bread was TO DIE FOR! And the ranch!! Ciara the manager was the sweetest person in existence. She made sure everything was perfect for us all while keeping an eye out to make sure the other staff weren’t struggling. Excellent service on such a busy Friday night. 100% will be returning.

Great food. I had the pretzel bites appetizer and the bone in wings. Absolutely delicious! My firned got the spinach dip and chips. Best I’ve ever had! Friscos is a favorite for me if I am in Cuba. Don’t forget to pull the chain on the way out if you enjoyed your meal. Its a train whistle. If you haven’t been you definitely should. Love their strawberry margaritas.

Amzing food and service: the waitress who served us was kind and friendly and made us feel welcome in a characteristic ambient which, thanks to the historical train style, made us live a real western-route 66 experience. The food was delicious, so far the best meet we tasted. really worth the stop

Excellent restaurant! We had a party of 6, we each ordered something different. We were all very happy with our meals, service and the atmosphere. I wish I remembered our server’s name because she was great! We just happened upon Frisco’s on our way to float on the Meramec. Now that we know, we will eat there every trip.

Vacationing in the area and read the good reviews so decided to give this establishment a try. Made a reservation for 8 people for 6:00 and when we got there it was starting to get busy. Put in our order right away after getting our drinks and we waited and waited and waited and waited! Didn’t get our order until 8:00 and only received portions that came out while we were eating. First the shrimp then the fries……Not sure what went wrong never got any real answers only that the chef was in a “bad mood” that night. So if you catch him/her in a “good mood” then you will get your food sooner and all on the same plate ?? Was very disappointed ☹️

It has been a few years since I enjoyed and appreciated my meal anywhere, until today! Frisco’s was wonderful! I had the Reuben Flatbread. My man had the BBQ brisket! Both were insanely excellent! We tasted each other’s meals and bragged that ours were better. The help was wonderfully friendly and inviting and although we were just passing through, they accepted us like locals! We had a great time eating, drinking and being merry!

I have had good meals here before… but not on 7/20/23… we got there a little before 8PM… the hostess was busy, and said “sit wherever you want, and a server will be with you shortly”… we then waited 5-10 minutes, before we were even acknowledged by a server. Ordered around 8:10, and got our salads after about a 15-20 minute wait… but it took about 40-45 minutes for our meal (just a 10” pizza and some toasted ravioli). This would be understandable if they were busy, but there were only about 5 other tables, and at least 4 servers on duty. On top of that, the pizza was almost cold (luke warm, at best) when it was served, the soda was flat (or watered down), and the beer was also flat (or stale). When the server asked how our meal was, I told her… but she made no effort to remedy the situation… she just said, “you should have told me”. She could have at least comped the flat soda. Very disappointing experience.

Jimmy West and his staff run an amazing restaurant. I’ve been pleased with every meal whether eating there or ordering takeout. They have also been able to accommodate dietary restrictions and allergies which has come up with friends and family ordering. Outside the restaurant, there are many murals that are worth visiting. It is right off of historic Route 66. I would highly recommend eating here while visiting Cuba, Missouri.
