First visit after 15 years, nice little place but the food can be better. The appetizer was pheasant in the chicken with mushrooms no seasoning. The salad seems like it was sitting in the fridge for several hours it was little wilted .

I visited Froggy’s with a friend for the first time. What a special place. Service was quick. Our waiter was so helpful with the menu and wine selection. Ordered the artichoke cold plate, a mushroom ravioli for appetizers and filet medallions as the main course. A beautiful well priced bottle of Alexander Valley wine was a great compliment to our meal. Bread pudding dessert was decadent. This is a lovely place to visit in Highwood, especially if you like French cuisine.

Fast and friendly service are the highlights of my experience at Froggy’s. As soon as we were seated, we were greeted by our server and drinks were promptly brought. And the food! It was wonderful, most of our party ordered the fish special and really enjoyed it. I ordered the rack of lamb and it melted in my mouth, it was so tender. They have an open air dining room, and it got a little warm on a summer night, but I wasn’t uncomfortable.

I think it is daring for a vegetarian to go to a French restaurant named Froggy’s!!! Everyone got something different. I should have taken a photo of everyone’s dish because they were all beautifully presented. Zero leftovers which means good portion size and delicious. Butternut squash soup … I ate it so fast I forgot to take a photo! It was the best squash soup I have had! Artichoke. I guess I am uncultured because I was expecting it to be hot! I understand that there are photos of sultry women in the men’s bathroom. Not so in the women’s bathroom. I loved the umbrellas!
