I was surprised to learn that this little coffee shop was a chain. I stopped in for a little pick-me-up and got a blueberry hibiscus iced tea and a cranberry orange muffin. The gentleman behind the counter was very friendly and we chatted a bit about things to do locally. The blueberry hibiscus with a dash of simple syrup, really hit the spot on a hot day! My absolute favorite though, was the muffin. I like cranberry orange in general, but this muffin was excellent. It was moist and delicious with plump, juicy cranberries, a hint of orange, and topped with the perfect sugary crust. I may just have to go get another one tomorrow! Yes, they’re that good!

I cannot overstate how much I love this place. On a recent OBX trip, my wife and I went 4 days in a row. We got dark roast three of those days. Ea h day was a different featured dark roast and each was delicious. They had oat milk for me and almond for my wife. The fourth day we each got “Salty Beach” shaken latte with Oat milk. One of the best coffee drinks I’ve ever had. I like that the shop is open late because I like to have a coffee around 2 or 3 and some of the shops close at 2:00pm. The service was great too. They go out of their way to make you sure you have a good experience. They also have special drinks for kids, which my kids enjoyed.

One of the only places you’ll find organic coffee around here, and it’s wonderful! Kombucha on tap is delicious. Probably the best black cold brew I’ve ever had. Speciality drinks that are high quality and they are happy to customize. All around wonderful, warm service at each location (KDH especially). In the words of the woman who served us today who calmly and masterfully handled her line out the door, “We’re so proud of our products, and I love working here!” Skip Starbucks and support this gem forever.

A wonderful place to visit. Whether local or visiting, you will get delicious coffee and fantastic service. Thoroughly enjoyed the espresso macchiato with half and half, had it four mornings in a row. Having never tried their nitro cold brew I was offered a taste before ordering. I knew I would like it, but that was a nice touch. Their muffins are super tasty, the music sets a good mood and the staff is beyond excellent.
