Heard great things about this location so we decided to try it for lunch.. All I can say is WOW.. this quaint spot knows how to take care of its customers. No long wait and the food is good. The customer service is great.. they have a daily $10 menu which you can’t go wrong with .. Food was so good, we went back a week later just to make sure it was the food and not just us being hungry.. The tables were study, and the bathrooms and floors were clean. Will definitely return

The food is fantastic! Service is quick and friendly. It is a small restaurant attached to a gas station, but don’t let the exterior deter you, the inside is a cute small diner with an outta this world burger. I got the Fry Daddy Burger my son had the fried shrimp plate and I will drive the 30 min from home to eat here again.

Great fish! The catfish was fantastic! Loved the shrimp and hush puppies. Hubby said it was the best Mac n cheese he’s had for 4200 miles on the road! And our waitress was first class friendly and helpful! And darling…….

Just stopped in to get ice from the gas station and grabbed the wrong door handle. Ended up in this fantastic restaurant. Absolutely great southern atmosphere and delicious southern food!! CANT MISS with the Costal Platter!!

I just came from having the best lunch in North Carolina, this place is amazing, the staff was professional and very friendly, you will not get treated like a number here. I was so full after eating only half my Flounder Plate with 2 sides. The place is immaculate inside, the patio is amazing, I was informed the lights come on in the evening so I’ll have to check in on that so I will be coming back more often. We were driving home to Maryland from Florida and stumbled upon this little gem! It’s not quite visible from I-95 but it is just off the freeway, conveniently next to a gas station. They’re attached, but there isn’t a pass through or anything like that. It feels likes it’s own cozy shabby chic spot for some good home cooking!

We’ve seen this place but always rode by. Tonight we tried it and OMG!!! I had an old fashion cheese burger, onion rings, sweet tea, and banana pudding. EVERYTHING was delicious. Even down to the customer service. Even though we did take out we left a tip. It will definitely be a go to when we’re in town. Sorry it was so good I didn’t get a chance to take pics

1st timer and very impressed. Nice menu which includes seafood. I had the captain’s platter, flounder, oysters, & shrimp was my choice. The staff was extremely nice as was the service. Definitely taking my wife next time.
