This was the second time I have patronized this restaurant. The first time the House Special Mei Fun wasn’t too bad, so tonight I decided to go there again. I ordered Shrimp Fried Rice. I asked for extra bean sprouts and I said I will pay extra for the same vegetables they put in the vegetable fried rice. Got home, opened the container and there were two broccoli florets and no extra bean sprouts. Never again.

If you like eating shrimp poop with your shrimp chow mein, your shrimp eggroll or any shrimp dish, then Fu Hing is your place. The first time I ordered shrimp chow mein and a shrimp eggroll, I noticed several shrimp had not been cleaned and the poop was still inside the shrimp. I was grossed out. I ordered the shrimp chow mein and shrimp egg roll a second time several weeks later, only this time I told them to please clean the shrimp. Needless to say, they did not! I will never EVER order from Fu Hing again. If you want to see pictures of the uncleaned shrimp, I posted them on Yelp along with my review.

Buyer beware. Had a taste for Chinese food and decided to try this establishment since it was close. Not all Chinese food are equal! Was not a very good dining experience. Rice was very salty and had very few ingredients (i.e. no sprouts, veggies, etc.) When I called and expressed that my order was not made correctly the attendant simply said that’s how we make it. Not only was the food subpar but they over charge by adding tax which didn’t add up (was not equivalent to NJ sales tax). If you want to enjoy your food go elsewhere.

This is the best tasting Chinese food in Bayonne. Not since the Lum Chin In restaurant closed 20 years ago has Chinese food tasted so good locally. Don’t get fooled by the rest; Fu Hing really is the best. Roast Pork Chow Fun, Young Chow Fried Rice, Chicken with Broccoli tastes great. What shall I try tonight?
