Carnival of Flavors
Best place for sushi. Highly highly recommend getting the Boat if you go with a group. Great choice of appetizers as well. Price range is slightly on the higher side but it’s justified by the setting, the food, the quantity and the place. Wish they had more dessert options other than mochi.

A slightly upscale sushi spot. It’s in Kendall Square, so be aware that parking will likely be tough to find.

Love Fuji Kendall but it won’t be the cheapest sushi meal. The quality is surely worth it however. Personally I just go for the classic rolls so I don’t really try anything crazy at any sushi place, so my go tos are salmon avocado and spicy tuna. Both of these dishes are crazy good, and one thing I tried here that I love, is the seared toro nigiri. Oh my god – melt in your mouth so you must try! I work in the area and this is my favourite lunch joint.

I went to Fuji this past week and will NOT be returning. A group that came after us was served right when they were seated while we were waiting for 10 minutes without anyone approaching us. The group that was served were white and Asian and we are black. After noticing this, we called over the woman who seated us and told her that we were being ignored. She said “there’s only one waiter” which was a lie because more waiters came out the back. She took our order and everything was ok. However, I couldn’t help but notice how the Asian male waiter named Kei M. was still ignoring our presence. He visited every table except ours (the only black one). How rude. Then when we asked for the check, he brought us the bill with his name listed as the server! The audacity of this waiter! He expected a tip after ignoring us the whole time and never approaching us at all. I have been to Fuji before but will not be returning due to the discrimination and dismissive attitude we experienced here.

I tried salmon sushi and sake don. Fish was very fresh but the rice was too dry. But people was nice and kind and restaurants was very clean and had nice atmosphere.

Really fresh and beautifully presented dinner. We had salt and pepper shrimp, then had pineapple fried rice, chicken katsu, BLT sushi, salmon nagiri, and tuna maki rolls. We’re looking forward to our next visit at Fuji

Delicious sushi restaurant in Cambridge! I came here on a Saturday night and was highly impressed with everything I tried, from the food to the drinks and the service was extremely attentive! For drinks we had the Such a Diva Martini, Spicy Citrus Fizz and Strawberry Paloma, which was my favorite! For dinner we shared the Sushi Regular Entree, Hot Hamachi Roll, and Seared Sake Toro (Seared Salmon Belly). Everything was delicious and fresh. To finish we had the Mochi dessert. I highly recommend this sushi place!

It’s been a while since I been here. The inside has more of a modern look. We got the Boat 2 which was 40 Pieces, crispy duck clay pot, toro, and seared sake Toro. The duck skin was super crispy like a Peking duck from Chinatown. The Toro and sake Toro were so buttery in texture. The boat has so many delicious pieces but the Maki was my favorite. Service was great but it a bit pricy. Good spot for a nice out
