So it’s one of those places where you get certain items from the menu like tempura shrimp, not looking for high quality raw fish or anything. That said, rolls, yakitori, and desserts were just ok. What was kind of strange to me was that 20% tip was automatically put on the bill, honestly that is fine, because I always tip at least that amount, but the fact that it is automatically put on the bill of a party of two was odd for me… then again it’s in a touristy area and sometimes they don’t know to tip the staff fairly who were very friendly and lovely by the way.

Chinese servers and cooks so not that authentic. Overall nice and clean place, friendly staff. Shumai reheated, good presentation and sauce. Veggie tempura surprisingly good, crispy and delicate, not overcooked or oily. Beef Ramen a very large portion, while the beef is tender, veggies ok, the soup is chinese style noodle soup, no depth of flavor, not Ramen stock.

Food sub-par. Ordered sushi, salmon tasted funny so a big red flag… Service was horrible, they are not for repeat business, trying to make a fast buck and move on to the next victim… There are many other options nearby that are much better and around the same price range ..

I dined here with friends last night. Everything we had was amazing. Fresh, tasty and delicious. The wait staff were upbeat and courteous. Appetizers arrived timely. Sushi took time to come to the table. This will be my new go to for sushi in any borough! We dined outdoors and I felt safe. Highly recommended!

I travel for business and have been to NYC 26 years in a row now. The first thing I do is locate the best restaurants near my hotel. Fuji is close the Sheraton and has great Japanese cuisine. The sushi is always fresh and generous in portions. Prices are good, service is amazing and the atmosphere is nice.

I am giving them 2 stars because I know that their in-house service and sushi is on point. However, I’ve ordered from them multiple times only to receive sushi that seems to have been put together in a rushed way. Every single piece in our rolls fell apart as we picked them up with the sticks. Beware if you’re considering ordering from them!
