The place is not that bad but not good either. I would say it is okay for its location and staff. The waitress was attentive and friendly. The place is pretty much empty when we walk in, considering it was lunchtime. We ordered chicken katsu, pork tonkutsu, and soft shell crab. The tonkutsu is a disappointment. The soft shell crab doesn’t taste like it, let alone look like a soft shell crab. It actually thought it was a chicken katsu when it was served. We also ordered a shaggy dog, which once again did not meet our expectations. I guess I had high expectations. One thing is for sure we will not go back to the place.

I have been ordering pick up a lot (grubhub) from them but I thought I’d spoil myself and grab warm sushi at the site of service. Awesome so glad I did. It’s nothing fancy or special but they have great combo deals for couples. All the rolls are well pictured or described in the restaurant menu vs ordering online. I really like this place. Food is always fresh. Glad I finally decided to come in. Atmosphere is pretty normal maybe could be described as small and intimate. It’s pretty informal. None of that matters to me as long as the fish is fresh and it taste good and trust me it definitely does. I also took cold rolls Togo and split a combo and took the cold to go they happily obliged. So fresh and yummy I can keep it in the fridge for a few days. If you find yourself buying heb sushi you will save money and support a local place by coming here instead or getting it delivered. I highly recommend it over HEB sushi especially considering it is either priced the same or cheaper but the quality is much better.

Extremely rude staff and menu photos are not accurate to current prices. I had put in an order for the Fire Dragon roll for pick up and the sushi was cut into 6 pieces instead of 8. I had confirmed previously with the staff that it was supposed to be 8 pieces. I arrived at my house and opened up the box to find only 6 pieces. I then went on to call the restaurant in which I was greeted with extremely rude service from Sara who answered the call. I expressed to her very respectfully that I only received 6 pieces, she would then go on to call me a liar and hang up the phone 3 separate times. This is an extremely rude unprofessional thing to do as a staff member of a restaurant. I definitely won’t be retuning here.

Food was okay, but the reason I gave a 3-star was because I tried to use a coupon of $10 off for orders over $60. Why did the lady when I went to check out tell me that it’s not for their location, but for the Aliana in Katy? There is no Aliana in Katy. I specified that the menu received in the mail is theirs and that’s the exact same number I called. She reiterates that it isn’t their menu. Then proceeds to hand me their “menu” which is the exact same thing that was sent out to me in the mail…Make is make sense. So no coupon code applied and they shorted me on my change because they didn’t have enough.

Expensive, but worth it. One of my favorite sushi places. My Lonestar Roll and Hot Mama are some of my favorite rolls. Although Hot Mama is a spicy roll, it’s not unbearably hot and has great flavor– and I’m generally not good with spicy things. The Phoenix tail roll is kind of bland compared to the Hot Mama but still tasty. Finally the Sunset Hollywood is a good roll if you want a “safe” roll. The flavors blend well together and there’s nothing too flashy that might deter a picky eater.

Omg… ♥️♥️♥️ Wow wow wow !!! You have got to try “Hot mama” it was phenomenal!!!! it was so light and airy. The way they tempura fried the sushi was excellent! It was super ligit!
