Fun date night! 2nd time here. Two weeks ago my daughter flew in from LA and we really enjoyed the sushi. Last night my date and I came here and we enjoyed the hibachi grill. My date had the seafood trio: lobster, scallops & prawns. And I enjoyed the combination hibachi of scallops & calamari. All delicious! Great service too! Son, our grill master even made us very yummy lemon drops!

I’ve been here a couple of times and it’s a great little hibachi, a bit simpler than the others in town but also less expensive and with awesome service. People talk more about Fuji’s for their sushi, but the grill experience is also excellent. When my sister and I last ate here, our chef was super lively and rather funny. He flavored our food well, and was able to serve us more quickly than I had been served at other hibachi places. I enjoyed the noodles that come with each grill dish, and the calamari was very tender.

Absolutely hands down the best sushi in Vancouver. The flavor was so full bodied and blended excellently. Our chef was fantastic to talk to as well. If you have never had a real California roll you need to have it here!

Been here once and it was fantastic. We’ve been going to Benihana for 20 years and finally tried this place after knowing about it for quite a long time. So glad we did! We spent $150 on dinner for two, shrimp tempura appetizer, sushi, and two alcoholic drinks. Prices are comparable, quality is……better! The chef was in and out in about 12 minutes, and set the entire grill surface on fire beforehand. No onion volcano shenanigans here lol.

The staff was great, but the chicken was raw. I have never been to teppanyaki before where the fried rice cost extra, its just rice with inexpensive ingredients added, why is it extra money?!? That was so weird, Also, happened to know the people at the other table and they were served raw chicken as well as my birthday desert after we left. Lmao, sorry, not actually funny
